Sounds like the guy on TT scamming folks too. Got me for $170 for a crankcase for my 06 CRF250r. He started texting me after responding to my WTB ad over there. I found out his number was from a Google phone number which he disconnected after I used Zelle to pay him. Seemed legit as he was sending me additional photos and wheeling and dealing. Went by the name of Leath Douglas Peters James using pennies4later@aol.com as an email and (571) 445-0432. Hopefully this will help someone else recognize this POS.

Dealt with a scammer this week. I was Looking for FE shrouds here. He wouldn’t give his VitalMX name. But texted from this number +1 (989) 941-6022. When I asked for pictures. First he sent radiator pictures. Then some other crazy pictures of I don’t know what. I called him out as a scammer and hadn’t heard from him since.

I got this from a user on Here Dennismark7 on the 7th that said his friend had PC linkage. Here are some pics. Said he was selling a complete linkage for 200.00 he sent me two different PayPal addresses to send F&F payment to.

I asked for pic with name and date and he photoshopped it as you can see in the pic attached. The emails below are what he sent for PayPal payment.

I just had the same issue that sam Wade tried to scam me and Dennismark7 was the one to set it up. Be careful I almost sent him the cash.

Hey guys and gals, heads up on this member "Mustaph" who just tried to scam me on some fork guards. He was super adamant about me sending him money through PayPal friends and family. Long story short, I had him call me. The number displayed as spam risk and his responses to my questions and request were that of a scammer. Additionally his number pulled up on another forum where he tried ripping someone else off. Beware!!!

One thing i always do, search for name on FB etc. In this case (above) i didnt find anyone looking to have any interest in MX with that name....

Austin knight He just scammed me out of $1000 here is a recent arrest record. he had an AMA PRO LICENSE at one point I know he was racing supercross then injured his back if anyone wants to join me in filing a criminal fraud charge against him please let me know there’s several accounts of him defaulting people on Facebook .

Does anyone recognize this bike ? I didn’t even bother to tell him it wasn’t an XR50, but a CRF50.
