I just got back from Field Training (Air Force ROTC Officer Candidate School) and I got payed a good bit of money from the training. I haven't been able to ride since March to keep from getting injured so I would be prepared for training. I've been doing maintenance on my bike getting it ready to ride and I wanna buy something for my bike with that money. I told myself I buy something nice with that money so I'm not gonna save it. I'm looking for something that improves performance and reliability for my bike. Also any other parts that you may have found to improve the ride: ex levers, foot pegs, grips... Any Ideas?

It might help if you mention what kind of bike you have

Save your money for when it blows the crank through the cases.

Riding school.
What you learn will help more than an exhaust, grips, foot pegs, levers, etc all combined ever will. As a bonus, the skills stay with you when you trade to a newer bike.

I had Rocket exhaust on mine and really liked it. It sounded great and revved to the moon

How about trading it in on a newer bike. The 05 CRF250 was not that great to start with. Not being a dick just sayin. Otherwise RG3 clamps with new bars and sunline VX1 levers are a must do mod. The bike will feel better and it looks trick.

Engine wise, the earlier CRF's have valve and seat issues... you could update the cylinder head to a 08 or 09 as well as the stock cam out of these years with a CP high compression piston, and a Yoshimura exhaust, I think you would be pretty happy with the Engine performance.
