Great interview with Chad Reed. Specially at the end when he talked about how the European riders ride a track differently than the US riders. Found it interesting, hope you guys do too.

I think this video is older. Chad kept referring to “we” as when he was still racing. I could be wrong, but when I watched the first couple min of it, it seemed like this was recorded a few years back.

I'm a great supporter of Chad as our greatest ever MX/SX rider, but I have little tolerance for listening to professional athletes in any sport talk about "unfair", "too hard", "don't get enough time off". I note that the riders didn't have any issues with being ready to line up for the Monster Energy Cup which was on around the same time.

Interesting view on the different approaches to MX between the US and Europe.

The difference between US riders and the European riders as what I found most interesting in the interview.

You’re probably right that it’s an older interview. But with the picture of this year‘s USA team on the front of the YouTube video is what threw me off.

On the latest PulpMx Gold Creek Lodge podcast Chuck Sun made an appearance and had a pretty interesting take on American Riders versus European Riders starting back when he first raced the MX des Nations.
