At the suggestion of someone in the Star Racing Yamaha thread...let's see if we can round up all the riders from Mitch Payton's Pro Circuit Kawasaki (and first two years as Peak Honda) team.

I'm going to need some help with the 90s riders...I know I'm missing a chunk.

I feel like I'm drawing a blank on some fill-ins.

Funny one as well....Mike Brown and Justin Hill were both there are two different occasions, with years spent elsewhere in-between.

Good catch! He was on a KX250F in 2014, 2015, and 2016 through Kissimmee Motorsports...got picked up by Pro Circuit on a fill-in late in the 2016 SX season and scored a podium at Indy SX. After that, he was sorta "placed" at Trader's Racing Kawasaki through the summer on a near or full Pro Circuit supplied bike.

I think in 2017 he was back on his program through Kissimmee then stepped away from racing after that SX season.

Beat me to it. A lot of people don’t remember when he briefly returned to ride 125SX in about ‘98.

I bet Mitch still remembers every one of them off the top of his head haha, such a true legend with a brain absolutely brimmed with moto.

Hell of a list here when you see them all together, jeeeeez.

His dad held Kawasaki to an agreement that they had made when James was still an amateur that he’d be on factory equipment after Honda promised them the same.

Kawi should swallow their pride, stop sweating the small stuff and follow Yamaha/Star's example and just hand things in the US over to PC, would be awesome.

Andrew Short had a short stint as a tryout after riding for Team Green as an amateur. At the time I was really hoping that would take off, but things all worked out well for him in the end.

Swallow their pride?? They seem to be doing a good job with the 450 program.

Right now I agree with you, big fan of Anderson and was happy to see Savatgy back out there on one, but Kawasaki in the US and even in Europe are often dicks, look at the Tomac debacle.

They’ve got 16 450 titles since the year 2000, I’d say they know what they’re doing.

Can't argue with the results 👍 But they could have had more out of Tomac if he'd actually been happy to be there.

He must have been happy enough the bulk of the time, he resigned with them a couple years ago. It couldn’t have been all that bad.

Sometimes people just need a refresh/change of scenery to breathe fresh life and reinvigorate them.

If a team wins 4 titles in 6 years with a rider they’re not changing anything.

Just talking about the Honda and Kawi team, not the Husky days or direct shop supported riders.

But Bro-Show is a bad dude on a dirt bike!
