We had a guy like that on another high traffic board I used to moderate on. Couldn't stop him short of having admin approve every new member. Which wasn't going to happen.

It really was whack-a-mole. We'd ban one and literally within minutes there was another id. He'd come and go...one week it'd be a flurry and then he'd disappear for some time. It went on for years. It's probably still going on, I don't hang there any longer.

I run the whole site so it's giant waste of my time dealing with return customers that won't accept their ban. So instead of working on content, I'm stuck babysitting...
ML....can't you pass on ban-stick power to a few trusted folks....that way you don't have to be the only one.

In our case on the other board, mods had power to ban and delete users posts....but obviously didn't have full admin powers.

Just a thought.

He really, really irritated the majority oft the board for abit. And would constantly delete his own posts when faced with counter opinions / his threads didn’t go his way.

I think it's best to keep "mods" identities secret so they don't become targets of psychos and whiners....
