Man, Chase will probably remember this last last moto for quite some time and it's sad they couldn't battle until the end. But he is the reason we got to watch one of the best seasons ever (apart from the broadcasting issues ofc). And even after three crashes he didn't stop pushing. Mad respect.

Eli the legend might retire after supercross, but I think we are in for a couple good upcoming years still.

By the way, did anyone expect Sexton to be this good after his 250 outdoor career?

I remember the times that Forkner was beating Sexton convincingly, how the times have changed. Sexton is on a level I did not expect from him, remembering those days. He has certainly earned my respect, and I will be rooting for him all year

Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I'm sure he is disappointed, but should be proud of his season. Very impressive.

Amazing racing this year! could not have asked for anything better. Chase is most definitely the future of the 450 class. I think the only thing that holds him back is himself. Seeing where he came from with Forkner and seeing where they both are now is insane. Congrats Chase, head up high buddy!

Now go win the MXdN for us!

What Sexton did this year was amazing. Took it to the wire in every race but one with the best Eli Tomac ever, prevailed roughly half the time, made Tomac earn any win he got, and ultimately down to the wire with a badass legend from hell. Sexton decimated and embarrassed every rider in the field other than Tomac. Even though he came up short today and thus short on winning the title, he did something very special.
I'm a Tomac fan and happy that he prevailed in the end, but I can't help being somewhat heart broken for Sexton because he is a great dude, a professional in every way, and he's good enough to be champion today if the slightest thing had gone wrong for Tomac. Props to this youngster. He is a beast and a future 450 champion.

Fantastic motos throughout the season. Was awesome to see Sexton improve as he did. Who’s next to make the leap in 2023? Jett?
