This followed me home today. Looks relatively low hour. Tank is pretty good and seat cover has no rips. Back fender is shot and front is work able…if anyone has an old rear fender in the attic let me know. Also any tips how to repack the silencer on this? Do you have to cut off the end and weld back on?

I see these lil guys forsale often in the Portland Oregon area. I've ridden the 82 as well which is still the like same engine generation.

The CR80 was so much faster than my XR-75 and it ended up being the bike I raced my first motocross race on. I spent countless hours with a shovel, wheelbarrow, and sweat building a track in my parents yard, and spent a good part of my summer busting out laps dreaming I was Johnny O'Mara on my 1980 CR80! Great times that I wouldn't trade for anything!
I grew out of it pretty quickly
