Something that is really really frustrating me. Someone needs to point out to Matt Walker, Brian, Luce, Star etc etc for their answer or reaction to this.
Why all the commotion about the kid claiming the bike? The rule is there for a reason, to keep amateur racing fair. They do understand by anyone having any reaction above mild annoyance is admitting the bike is far superior to anyone else’s and far above 17k worth of bike and goes against the morals of amateur racing and the guidelines that this rule sets out.
It is clear as day that the real problem in all this is the sport at the AMATEUR level has an unspoken rule that nobody follows a rule set out to make the sport fair. Something is seriously wrong with amateur motocross culture that no one is acknowledging that.
