Gajser just won his 5th World title. He’s one of the best to ever do it when it comes to winning titles. Hondas best hire since RC.

4 MXGP titles in 7 seasons. 5 total titles in 8 seasons. Legend. And certain fanboys still discredit him.

Will always be discredited...still no title with a full season healthy Herlings. Or at least a big part of the season.

I don't disagree it will be discredited. Kind of like Dungey here. It's not his fault he's durable and Herlings is frail though.

Dude needs one more title to tie Joel Robert for third all-time and people will still be talking about how he didn't have to face Herlings...

Very impressive results, currently with only one fewer big bore championships than THE MAN.

Discredited by who? Do Herlings titles not count because Roczen left? Herlings has also never beaten Gajser when he’s been 100 percent healthy for the entire year either. You don’t “luck” into 5 world titles.

I mean if you go by stats we are closing in on saying Herlings is lucky he stayed healthy enough to beat Gasjer 😂😂

Stop this bullshit! To win titles, you have to be on the bike. You have to blame Herlings,Gajser took lessons from his crashes and now he wins titles.

Herling has also never beat him straight up for a title either.

TG is so underrated. Herlings has blazing speed but the end of the day championships matter.

He deserved more credit. A bad dude on a motorbike!!

Congrats!

Don't waste your time . You're dealing with a Herlings fanboy almost but not quite the level of dick loots .

Everybody knows that Herlings is the fastest man on the planet, and he MIGHT end up with more championships than Gajser, but he also might not.

You need to stay on two wheels.

Hats off to Tiga.

Just not sure who was in the championship this year to beat him. His results were far from impressive the last months.

We need a healthy Gajser and a healthy Herlings (Febvre too if you ask me) to have a truly entertaining championship. I was not entertained much this year.

Big, big fan of Herlings here but... come on! Well deserved title, as the others titles too!! To win titles you must be consistent and Herlings is not!
Congratulations to TG!!

Not only winning but with two races to go. Shows how hard it is to be fast and not crash yourself out. Even with Herlings out it’s impressive that no one else could bring enough consistency to keep it to the last race.

I agree. As soon as Herlings & Febvre were ruled out with injury & Cairoli retiring, the FIM was already etching Gajser’s name on the trophy.

Still congratulations to Tim, he rode steady all year & wasn’t really pushed all season. Let’s see what’s happens next year.

It seems like everybody on here ranks RV as better than Dunge yet they rank Gajser better than Herlings.

My own opinion is that Herlings and RV at their best are/were better than Gajser and Villo, but Dunge and Gajser are better at doing what they're supposed to do, which is stay in the fight and win championships.

Don't count out Reneaux for next year. Had he not missed two rounds he'd be fighting for 2nd in points in his rookie season

Dude everyone knows Herlings is fast. But the bottom line is you can’t win championships by sitting on the couch hurt. Everyone that is a moto fan wants to see Herlings out there but it seems his biggest competition is himself. Don’t need to taint TG243’s accomplishments just because JH can’t keep it on two wheels.

Funny thing is that Gajser runs the same program as Tomac. Alone with his father, far away from the industry in the countryside. In Eastern Europe (Slovenia)

Number 243 is the day his brother died, but he also said in a interview from a few years ago that Eli Tomac is his role-model. The same number as Eli in his rookie year
