I was watching from the back rhythm section . Every jump in the section Eli was reaching down and pulling his pants up…3-4 laps in a row. No tear offs, just trying to keep it PG-13🤞

Well eli’s wild riding style is what makes him so fast. However it takes more effort then chase’s smooth style. However smooth only goes so far, i suppose when they are over the line, tomac has an advantage.

I think Eli's tire choice is one of the reasons he was cooked at the finish. He obviously has confidence in using the scoop/paddle and it has been helping him get starts along with that top fuel dragster he's riding. Conversely I think he has to either go wide and find some cush or manhandle the thing by pivoting the bike standing it up and lighting the wick and flat tracking (look at the pass on Chase). I think it takes more energy to ride the bike like he has it set up but he is just the guy for the job.

Only one time did his bike look bad and that was the downhill before the finish and he had a little bar swap. Outside of that his bike looked great. He did not look spent to me at all actually. He did a 180 jump down from the podium.

I was just hoping neither one went down because they were hammering and it would have been bad. Especially when Eli went down Mt. Martin sideways.

He actually said the opposite. His setting was off in moto 1 and fixed it for moto 2.

Someone has to ask Eli what the heck is up with his pants. It almost cost him the win. You know Chase saw him pulling up his pants.

Awesome to see the respect when they race each other. There are others who just don't have the speed and like to block. These two race with respect for each others speed. This MX season will catapult Sexton's confidence going into SX for 23. Sexton is the future for MX and Sx. Eli is racing his last MX season and clearly wants to win this championship. Cool to see!!
