Anyone watch the new pre race show.
Weege was saying sexton said the 450 sometimes it just loses grip with no notice.
Carmichael pulled a face and said nah he thinks there's mental focus issues with sexton. I will try and find it an post it. I don't know how to time stamp it tho.

It was a very small mistake. He didn’t choke. Perhaps he backed it down too much and lost race focus. But I don’t think it was even that.

Did you see the track? Did you see the speed these guys are going? Crazy that there isn’t more mistakes that lead to a crash.

It was just a small unfortunate blip that happens sometimes.

That’s racing. That’s why you charge to the end.

If Eli doesn’t lay it up he could have had the overall. That’s why you keep pressing and never give up and settle. Race to win.

You never know what can happen to others.

I'd bet that's exactly what happened. Chase had nothing to gain, but Honda had everything to gain. Good employee following orders I'd say.

450,s handle like crap that’s what all the riders say. The last 10 min the riders r wore out from too much power and weight. There chasing chassis balance. You see the front end go left and rt real quick then the rear of the bike picking up in the air and going off to the side. Holding it wo is not going to save ya in that situation. The bike is going in 2 directions. Only thing to do there is safely hit the ground.

Honestly im impressed at how well he is doing
Sure he makes costly mistakes , however
Chase is the one guy that has come into the 450 class in recent years and won in both SX and MX
in 2022 he has proven to be one of the top 5 in the USA and the other four have multiple years more experience in the 450 class

This is the first race where chase really moved forward. If he doesn’t get a good start, he’s pretty stagnant and just stays where he is. He’s either going to figure it out, or not.

Saying he choked does not mean he wasn't super fast that moto and rode great until that moment.

Yes, without a doubt he choked. Mental lapse. He has done this much more than other riders I can remember. Since AC that is.

Gonna be hard for him to change but I don’t see him winning a big bike championship doing stuff like that unless he gets that true Stewart speed where he can wax everyone most of the time

I called Sexton the champ before the season started, I believe he has what it takes.

He has what Roczen, Tomac, Andersen, Dungey, Barcia, DON'T HAVE,....youth and hunger.
