Does anyone know where to find the metal fork slider guides that were on the early 90s Yamahas? I have a '94 Emig replica yz125 ('93 inspired look) and I'd like to get the metal fork slider deals on there. Does anyone have knowledge of these? Is there a way to make them out of some metal strapping? I have never seen them up close. I'm just looking for ideas. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I'm talking about the metal strap with the oval holes. I don't know much about it. Here is a picture of something similar with round holes to help clarify. Thoughts on this?

The fork guard slider guides that clamp around the fork tubes. Think they were just aluminium and anodized that grey gun metal color. Giving them a titanium look.

HD video of Emig's 92 bike on youtube. There is a lot of good reference there for you to make a replica set. Maybe Aaron can help you out like he did when he made the RM fork brace for the Suzuki of Troy bikes?

Bike is in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Ohio so maybe someone can go grab close up shots of them for you.

Perfect shot of those. Thank you! Side note: I'm in Orangevale, Ca. I assume you made it to Hangtown? Great day of racing.
