Hi everyone,
Wanted to say hello, and I'm glad to have found a place to talk MX!
I just re-watched the 2008 MXoN, and am already getting excited for the 2009 "Olympics of MX." Although the AMA championships are getting really interesting, I wanted to see everyone's ideal teams for the 2009 MXoN.
This is what I'm hoping for (if JS7 decides to ride):
USA: MX1- J. Stewart, MX2- R. Dungey, MX3- I. Tedesco
Australia: MX1- C. Reed, MX2- B. Metcalfe, MX3- M. Byrne
Great Britain: MX1- Billy Mackenzie (if healthy) , MX2- T. Searle, MX3- J. Dougan
Italy: MX1- A. Cairoli, MX2-M. Monni, MX3- D. Phillippaerts
Belgium: MX1- C. Desalle, MX2- Van Horebeek, MX3- De Dycker
Germany: MX1- Nagl, MX2- Roczen, MX3-?
Estonia: MX1- T. Leok, MX2- ?, MX3- A. Leok
France: MX1- S. Pourcel (if healthy), MX2- Musquin (if he has a bike to ride), MX3- Aranda
In any event, I'm hoping for another exciting MXoN for 2009. Feel free to critique.
Later,
Brandon

I can take it, I wont even edit my stupidity.
New Zealand: MX1- J. Coppins, MX2- ?, MX3- C. Cooper
Spain: MX1- J. Barragan, MX2- ?, MX3- C. Campano
Rep. of South Africa: MX1- G. Swanepoel, MX2- T. Rattray (If healthy), MX3-
Switzerland: MX1- J. Bill, MX2- A. Tonus, MX3- ?
As for MX2 I would like to see Barcia.
And Dungey on a 450 for MX3.
Prolly not a chance in hell of that happening, but it would be very fun to watch.
makes me wonder if there will be a team usa...........
Reed can take MX1.
If Byrne rides like he is then he can top 5.
Metcalfe can hang in there as well.
France will probably be Aranda, Aubin and Musquin. so not a great chance of winning with the Pourcel Bros out.
Top three:
US-Italy-AUS
Without JS7 I'd go for Italy at home in front of the tifosis!!
