Trey Canard Ted Talk

most the time i would think this is a joke but when i read the thread title i knew this dude actually did a ted talk lol. good video though. great dude.

Short but yet so meaningful talk. He was an animal on the track, the fights with Pourcel, Villopoto and stewart are great to watch over and over again, also his goon videos are awesome.

Wish he could of even doubled the length, I feel like he had a lot more he wanted to say but had to keep it short. Either way, great to see Trey still giving back, amazing human for sure.

It’s not a TED talk, it’s TedX, which is like arenacross is to SX.

However, the point of Ted talks isn’t to convey something you have expertise or domain over really. It’s usually to discuss something off the beaten path you discovered about life, yourself, or others on the journey to whatever that end goal you were seeking to get to was.

With that criteria, I think he did pretty good. Public speaking is scary and hard to do, lots of people tank. The rider in him shows that he’s built different.

Trey is a standup guy.

A good book on the same subject as his talk is No More Mr Nice Guy by Robert Glover.

Huge fan of Trey. Love how he gave all glory to God every time they stuck a mic in his face.

He has always been an exemplary athlete off track and within the sport, I think it's an excellent explanation as to his on track mishaps. An insurmountable weight on his shoulders, misconception on his part but definitely an understandable mindset. If this sport wanted to take a step in the right direction they should have or should still seriously consider his involvement. Maybe the WSX might swoop in and consider his services.

We have some awesome role models in our sport. Glad Trey Canard is one of them.
