You’re right… for whatever reason I didn’t think to search and also assumed they were too new and too hard to get to find pics like that..

I've drove one and for one thing if your planning on driving 3 hrs to a track this thing will make it a comfy ride and very easy on the pocket book. A six hour round trip was under 60 in gas at 75 mph at 4.35 a gallon
I plan on picking one up this summer.

All good, wasn’t being a dick. Just figured you’d get more of what you were looking for. Also thinking about picking one up after we move in a couple months!

Dude, I've been so tempted if I come across one. My wife is not a van tho lol. On FB there is a pretty active and informative group you should check out. At one time I posted about bikes in the back. A couple people showed pics with 2 bikes. It would be tight, but the mpg would be sick during build back better. Lol

I have been wanting one but I can't make myself pay $35k for a vehicle that retails for 20k.

Yep, I was able to get mine last November. It's the Ecoboost, XLT luxury trim package with FX4 and a few other options (spray in bed liner, tiedowns, etc.). I absolutely love the truck, have 6,000 miles on it now and have towed my bike/+ others to different tracks around PNW. This isn't the hybrid version but I average 26 mpg doing 50/50 city & highway, and 29-32mpg only highway with bike in back. Comfort is amazing for me, and the ecoboost with 250hp has plenty of pep to get up and go. Will easily fit 2 full size bikes in back with gear, I've seen some do 3 bikes on forums but that would be a tight fit. After visiting Australia and seeing all the trucks being driven there... it's kind of funny that we are just now seeing trucks like the Maverick come into the US market when nearly all the vehicles over in AUS are similar in size (Navara, Amarok, Hilux, etc).

I have the Hybrid XLT in Grey similar to the FX4 one above me. I got 42mpg going to the track Sunday. Super easy to load (just like my Ranger). I love it! The AC works super great too, after a hot day of moto that was nice, my Ranger didn't have AC lol.

Also, I got 550 miles with the 14 gallon gas tank these last few weeks.

Single cab, 8’ bed, vinyl floors and 5k less would be perfect.

We have the Ranger Raptor in the UK. Bike is quite far back as I have kept the factory fitted roller shutter. Useful when not carrying a bike..

We have an explorer sport Trac now, it's my wife's. She has already made the demand. When it's time for a new vehicle she's getting the new Maverick. Base MSRP is around 20k, but good luck finding one period.

I'm pretty much sold on these, but how comfy is it? I'm not a little guy and I drive a ton for work, so it needs to have a pretty good seat. Unfortunately, there's none around me for sale, so haven't had a chance to even sit in one. I appreciate all the feedback on here, it sounds like it could be a good rig for me.

I have a Maverick with FX4 like the one pictured above. I'm 6'7" and about 250lbs. I fit very comfortably. No complaints at all. Still getting around 27-28 mpg on the highway with bigger all terrain tires and a leveling kit too.

Good luck getting one at anywhere near sticker.

I ordered my awd FX4 back in Nov. Got it in April, put 3000 miles on it and I just sold it for a profit.

As I ordered it I got it for MSRP so it was $31,700 OTD. I just sold it for $36,000. Crazy times we live in!!!

But I did love it. Rides great, was able to take two bikes all my gear, tool box and an ez-up.

But hard to turn down free money for driving a truck for 3000 miles hahaha

Do these come with a purse holder? Never understand the desire for wasted cubic space.

Best bet Troy is what I did... I had ordered a Maverick direct from Ford/dealer with my build, however as I realized it was going to take quite some time (6 months) and my Ford Ranger was stolen, so I had to get into a vehicle ASAP. I used auto sites like cars.com and filtered by newest posting across the filters I was looking for (I did nationwide, trim, color, etc.) The dealership websites will auto populate their incoming orders including customer deliveries into sites like cars.com through their inventory management system. I would then email/call the dealers showing the vehicle in the configuration I wanted and see if they had it available or a customer order back out/cancel. It took me about 2-3 weeks of doing this but I was able to get one back in November when there were faaaar less available, and I didn't pay above MSRP, only delivery across country which was $1,500. I received the truck in 5 days, right during Thanksgiving, delivered to my door. Highly suggest trying that out, you should be able to locate one faster than you think if you are ok possibly shipping or driving a little ways. I ran into plenty of places charging above MSRP, I just politely declined and moved on. Several dealerships will honor MSRP/sticker price, just have to call and ask.

I’ve had mine for 8 months, love it so far. Great for commuting and hauling the bike to the track. The smaller bed is really not an issue. I picked up a motogate on Amazon which was around $60. Also there are so many hooks in the bed that it’s pretty easy to get everything secured.

Find one you like on auto trader/cars.com, then pull up the window sticker on the dealers site. You can actually use the ford order tracker with the vin and middle 4 characters of the item # from the window sticker to see if the truck has been built/shipped/delivered. Blue window stickers are dealer orders, I think green are custom orders. Find one that has actually been built and the dealer will let you put a deposit down on it as long as it’s unclaimed. Some dealers do refundable some won’t. I was able to get mine this way. It’s takes a bit of effort for sure. But if you call the dealers most of the time they have no clue when the units are actually supposed to be in.

I got the Lariat version and added pretty much every option there is to it. Got rid of a 2016 Tacoma that I absolutely loved to acquire it, and for what it's worth, I have ZERO regrets.
