I have no idea what will happen the rest of the season but if I had to bet my house on the first round I'm pushing all in on Roczen. There is nothing more on brand than Kenny skipping half of the SX season and then waxing the field first round.

I'd be surprised if Roczen doesn't holeshot, and gap the field in, the first moto.
Perhaps even winning it.

Tomac and Ferrandis might be content to ease into the season with a top 3-4.

Chase may be on fire early in both motos.
Who knows if he'll be around up front for both.

I think Anderson will be coming guns a blazin', probably not willing to let Kenny run away with the opening rounds.

I can’t remember the last season where we had so many complete unknowns going into round 1. The 5, 222, 3, 94, and 21 could each either get 1st or 7th and nobody would be completely shocked. Add the 23 & 1, and you have 7 guys who could realistically challenge for the title. 5 US or MXGP champions.

Here’s to hoping they all stay healthy and battle it out all year long.

Tomac gets 3rd but shows speed. He will be taking it a bit easy round one. He is the new Dungey.

Kenny for the win. Anderson solid 2nd. Chase falls down at some point after showing amazing speed.

Dungey 5-6. Of course, who knows.

CC could be 3-4 and even lead some.
