Why no TC300? Heritage?

I am badly in need of a new bike and had fully planned on a TC300 coming out.
Does anybody know any rumors about the heritage editions? Perhaps they will release the 300 then? It doesn't make any sense that they wouldn't put one together..

With the new tech in the power valve I wonder if they will make 300 kits for the 250s as before. Any info on this?

This. I'm really wanting a 300 smoker but want a Husky. Should we wait for another year?
Kind of like GasGas releasing the 350 a year later.

I’d like a GasGas version MC300
At a better price point.

Did they add the electronic power valve and EFI to the TCs? If so could always get a big bore kit

I'd think it's a safe bet there will be a Husqvarna option for next year. It appears amongst the KTM group KTM takes center stage, followed by Husqvarna then GasGas.

The bikes are closer than they ever have been, add a husky gas tank and plastic to a ktm and you have a tc300.

If I saw a TC300 and got that funny feeling I just had to have it even though I don't need it, I was fully planning on buying one, just to have. I know electric start is not as cool on a 2t, but with electric start and EFI, as someone who has been riding since the early 80s, would be fan-freaking-tastic.

A small part of me is glad the 2023 Huskys are so damn ugly, and that it appears the only 300 is orange this year. The KTM looks nice, but I will wait for the Husky (and hope they figure out what color they want to go with next year, the 2023s are confused, from the frame up).

there are several KTM models that Husky doesn't offer (TX250, FX250 for example). Seems strange they wouldn't offer this TC300 though - I bet the new 300 is going to be popular and hard to find. The '23 GasGas MC250 is still old platform with carb motor (awesome motor and simple) and easy to make 300cc.

Good point. I am betting a lot of the guys that ride 350s are looking at this one close, it caters to a specific crowd.

Husky has never offered a 150 either, have they? I plan on getting one of these new husky TC's. Personally, I think the huge pointy rad shrouds on the KTM look horrible.

Correct, Husky has never made a 150.
Agreed, the KTMs don't have a good design but then I don't like the Husky color scheme lol.

Technically they have been making a 150 for quite some time (and still do) it's the TE platform based from the TC125 platform with obvious changes.

I was going to ask if the frames are identical. Heck, you'd only need the seat cover and the plastic at the front; the rest of the bike is white already!

Handlebars and Excel rims are only remaining differences then?

If the Pierer group want to make a clear division between the orange, white and red bikes, this is an effective way to do it.

Maybe the white bikes will go forward with the 150 instead now it’s not in the orange line up.

On the plus side for you, it wouldn't take much to get rid of the orange on the KTM. I also was more interested in the Husqvarna version, mainly because I have a better Husqvarna dealer,

Seems like it. The plastic is a different shape, but it's all white already. IDK; I'm not an expert on the Austrian bikes.

I'm with you on the orange. KTM is such an amazing company but if I was in the market for a new bike, I would buy the new 300 smoker and put white plastic on it.
