Graphics are installed but I am still waiting for my new oem kickstarter.
I tried to repair the old one by filling it and machine it in order to reduce play and stoping it to touch the frame during kick-start. Complete failure since the kick was seriously weaken by the heat of the weld. It broke after 10 kick starts.

I'll make nice and clear pictures next week.

Bike is finally done.
I managed to find a vintage Renthal red bar pad, it was the last missing part in order to match the look of the 2000 American Honda bikes.

I could have done better on the build since I did not vapor blasted the engine and frame and did not replaced the wheels nor went full HRC parts.

I can't wait to ride it in a couple of weeks.

Many thanks to all of you for your help and advises !

I am now 3 hours into this bike and guys... I have so much fun riding it !
It's slower, harder and more tiring to ride compared to my previous 4 strokes but the fun factor is second to none.

Very impressed by the smooth and broad powerband of this engine. Chassis is great as well.

Many vet colleagues came to discuss about the rebuild at the track, great to discuss and share about the era we dreamed about when we were young !

Hi. Just a FYI, the peg mounts can be fitted with 11mm pins to tighten worn holes. The pins are on ebay.

A 10 or 15mm PV spacer definately helps the power on low end. A 15 will require most pipes to have a small dent in them to clear the spacer. Denting the pipe in that fat section with such a small dent won't affect the power enough to matter.

Keep your orings on your exhaust pipe fresh or the pipe will wear grooves into the cylinder and then it will leak exhaust, making a mess and costing power.

Vforce 3 reeds run much better than stock.

Nice work on the build.

If you use the Boyeson PV spacer, you will not need to dent the pipe. As Sean said, it definitely helps low end and smooths out the power delivery.

Hello,
thanks for the information.
I found a manufacturer in Netherland who sells this product. I'll give it a try.

I will try a 15mm spacer, it seems there is enough room with the DEP pipe so I don't have to dent it.
