The Factory boys got beat like a Tom Tom then raked over the Byrner.. Kudo's to Byrne and Hahn for some great rides. IT and AS are as mediocre as any factory riders I've seen. Don't believe the hype. I say Short will be lucky to get a good ride.

I think Short will still get a ride. His results aren't the best lately, but, from a hiring standpoint, he works hard looks like he's really easy to work with, and is personable and friendly with fans (I talked to him a few times in the past) That is the kind of rider you want representing your product.

I wonder if there is something more going on with the bikes that we will never know about limiting his results

what about millsaps> alot of guys have wrote him off as well and he was in 3rd and the bike broke i guess that was his fault.

If he keeps giving up points like that he won't be in striking distance. He has a golden opportunity with Reed being sick and all the other guys out.

Honda bike problems today? Seems that each of them were looking down at their bikes a few times.

Shorty's already signed up for 2010 with Honda. So is Millsaps. IT hasn't been offered a contract as of yet.

That's a fluke of the points and all the riders ahead of him that have gotten hurt. What has Short ever done to show he could take a title? He's had his chances and can't seem to move up to the elite tier. Now, even the guys coming back from injury like Byrne and Milsaps are blowing by him.

Short seems like a nice guy ... and maybe that's his problem.

Short is no nice guy on the track...

Short has always been a good solid rider, but never considered great.
he will always be a runner up to guys like Reed,Stewart, Villopoto and Alessi.

he needs to sac up and move up...he'll regret it all his life he doesn't take it a notch or 2 up in speed and risk taking
