I just went and checked, this is all i saw. James said he knows Jeffrey listens, and that his compound is open and waiting for him to come over, and that Cairoli has already asked him about riding there while he's around the Baker factory.

So all you saw is a video from a conversation saying Jeffrey needs to be here this summer, and Jeffrey saying he will listen to Stewart. And you don’t think that means anything…

...so what did you see? I just tried to give some clarity to a vague post.

Edit: I missed the word "don't" in your post and was pretty damn confused... I think it means he obviously is seriously considering it, pending injury timeline/contract details, but it's not stamped yet.

They should ask Roger, at the race today, if they are coming over. He may not say, "yes" but if he says, "NO"... I'd take that to the bank.

It’s not cryptic at all, it’s someone saying come race and the other person saying ok I listen to you. It’s extremely straight forward

He saying he listens to the pod. JFC. Yes JH might race US nationals this year. But not because Bubba wants him too.

DC mentioned some rumors about Webb maybe taking a hiatus this summer and Marv on SX only so it would make sense KTM would want someone under there tent. MXGP is pretty much already a wash for KTM. So the tea leaves are adding up but nothing confirmed and it certainly won’t be because Bubba said so.

Personally, I think it's a bit of both. He knows damn well "I always listen" has a double meaning in this context, he's drumming up more talk/excitement, taking a page out of Reed's book. Drum up as much excitement/speculation about a possible announcement before you make the actual announcement.

Everyone needs to pump the brakes, he just got off crutches 10 days ago and hasn’t even started riding yet.

If he comes, I wouldn’t expect a guy with limited seat time and zero time spend acclimating himself to the weather to put up much of a fight against Eli and Fersanchez.

Care to put a wager on that (if he races here obviously). $100 he wins multiple races by seasons end.

I get ppl doing clickbait on YouTube videos for financial gain, but doing it in a free forum page is just retarded sorry

That’s a suckers bet. I think if he came here healthy, he’d win the title. But you can’t expect a guy to come here with limited training and seat time to run with a properly tuned Eli.

Ok so take it then? You’re saying he won’t be healthy…

A happy, healthy, fit and comfort Eli is going to be very hard to beat.

That is real ! But I will bet that if Herlings was prepared to race the nationals, I’d put my money on him for the championship.
My feeling is that Jeffrey will not be lining up for Pala. It would be a mistake if he did, IMO

I guess you don’t understand reading comprehension, I’m on board with him being able to win, I just don’t think you’ll win the first few races.

Now if you want to put a wager on the first round, you have Herlings I have a field, I’ll put as much money do you wanna bet on that one.

I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt if you were from a different country and maybe didn’t read or understand English well…But you’re from the US. Come on man, it’s not that deep ha

I certainly wouldn’t bet against Herlings either. I don’t know who would win either. The problem with Herlings is he wouldn’t be able to miss motos or events and still win the championship here. If he can stay healthy and race every moto I have no doubt he would win the championship. Eli on the other hand is extremely fast and controlled. He doesn’t typically miss time with injuries.
