I actually think the game is awesome. You have to play it in first person view. If you aren’t then you’re not getting the realism this game actually does provide. You can throw big whips and scrubs. You can now free ride on tracks. You can make a custom helmet and share it online. We’ve got two strokes. You can change the size and angle of your numbers. You can now change some of your gear when on a team. You can tear a tear off. You can make a track and share online. Over the years these games have added a lot.

No, the game isn’t perfect but damn are we fortunate to have such an in-depth game for such a small, niche sport. I can’t for the life of me understand people who complain about the game coming out every year with minimal upgrades. That’s how sports games are but we get all new tracks every time. If you don’t want to buy a new game every year then just buy every other year. I’ve been playing motocross games since motocross madness and I remember the times of having nothing but crap games that were modern. Are you guys who are complaining too young to remember those days or what?

I couldn't agree more. This one is even better handling wise last game too. I love all the new additions and the next game with this years tracks will be even better.

Traction while cornering is greatly improved!

I said it before and I’ll say it again - the people who don’t enjoy this game most likely do not have their settings correct (advanced physics, separate brakes etc) and do not give enough time to play the game proficiently.

That’s fine though, there’s a ton of people in the online lobbies having epic battles and good times that think the game is great.

LayinWatts69 on Xbox if anyone wants to throw down 👍🏼

I agree, I still run 3rd person view but with all the aids off.

I've always liked this game because to be competitive online you have to ride the whole moto right at the top of your ability. Once crash, mistake, bad line etc can cost you the race.

I even have to warm up by doing a few practice laps before I jump in online.

If we don't voice our opinion's then how can they improve?

My goal is not to air my dirty laundry and complain. It's to one day see a game as good as other Motorsports games for our sport.

To assume someone is not thankful for games like this is also incorrect. My entire life is SX video games. I have designed tracks for these games since MCM1. Now at 54 I fear I may be dead before we get an SX/MX game on the same level as the NASCAR games in terms of reality.

Not trying to come off as argumentative. It's all good.

It’s all good. I think you should voice your opinion but sometimes people only focus on the negatives and forget all of the positives that these games are full of.

Completely agree. If you are playing it like an arcade it probably isn’t the best game. If you learn how to use separate brakes and lean rider weight than this game is legit. Timing jumps is rewarding, can’t just preload everything with horrible timing. On 250f in Atalanta I was having issues tripling perfectly into a triple triple triple so I had to triple double out. Love that kind of stuff.

So I purchased the early release of the new game on the idea that i'd get the season pass on the PS4. Come to find out now that it only works for the PS5, Kinda a crappy deal if you ask me. Or am i missing something?

I’m having a damn good time with the game it’s not perfect but it’s pretty damn fun. The AI is way faster or I just suck really bad I can win about 1/3 times on hard medium was way too slow though

I’m not sure how PlayStation does it but Xbox has an optimal download where it downloads whatever version you have (Xbox one/x/s).

Maybe you’re missing something ? Sorry

Sucks that after 10+ games, Milestone still can’t figure out how to make the AI competitive or fun to play with. They still all just run the exact same speed in a single file line, and do not at all react to your presence. On ‘realistic’ they run the most ridiculous lines around the turns, you literally see the front end pushing but they still make the corner perfectly. If an AI hits you from behind, you go flying off the track. If you hit an AI, you’re gonna stop dead. Just ridiculous. Nearly every race for me goes: holeshot, lead for 3-5 laps, make a mistake, get absolutely pummeled by AI in every corner, landed on on every jump until I’m about 15th, work my way back up until I get taken out again.

Haven’t played online yet, but that’s where these games shine. I like the changes to the career mode, custom helmets are cool, the bike handles as good as ever, just my god the AI is ridiculously bad.

Verdict: if you want a fun game to play with your friends or randoms online and you liked the previous Milestone games, it’s worth a buy. If you want to play single player, it’s absolutely not worth the headache.

The custom helmets are totally lame. I would never wear a helmet shell that ugly in real life makes the rider look like a D class weekend warrior

speaking of the AI , who knew that ronnie stewart , bubba pauli and AJ is hella faster than tomac , kenny , coop & the rest of the factory racers

The AI is fast and it’s awesome but FCK. I can’t believe how mad this game makes me sometime. From getting landed on to landing on the AI (because they randomly miss a triple) to getting taken out because they literally DGAF about your line. There has got to be some give and take. They are fast and it’s awesome but it needs to be changed a bit. Just tweak it 10%.

Does anyone know if custom championship is available on this game? I'm not seeing it available, does it become unlocked, am I just missing, or did they just do away with it?

Anyone else suddenly have birds chirping in the background at all times or am I just nuts? I can’t get it to go away after 3 straight rounds of Atlanta SX in the rain.

Also what bike setups you guys using? All assists off, separate braking.

And you can’t move them at all they don’t budge. Where as they can take you out easy

F’ing A bro! The bike handling & physics are totally pathetic! These programmers seriously need to get ‘professional riders’ to show them how rectify their ‘shite’!

If you could somehow blend the first 3 games together it would make a decent game

Crazy to me they still dont have the top guys being the top guys. With power of the new systems, they can develop an awesome game. Track deformation, physics etc. its almost like they cant or wont lol

Yo, I made a track.

The 2003 Las Vegas Supercross. I built this replica track with the ability to play all bikes 125cc-450s.

I also tried to make all the lines done at the real event possible in the game - even the quad over the table James Stewart was doing. Just like the real track there are different rhythms for different skill levels and bikes. I welcome all feedback. Check it out and let me know what you think. Just search 2003 Las Vegas on PS4.

I’ll race your track with the private online lobby group I usually race with, if you’re on Xbox send me your gamer tag so I can invite you to the races.

I just have a ps4. Sad my user ID In in the image. It’s tight and pretty technical. To get the finish line triple on a 125 you really have to time the shift right, or put it in third through the whoops and rail the top of the berm like Stewart did during the actual event. I’m not sure if it’s playable on Xbox but if that’s really great.
