For fuck sake, just because other jobs may have more pressure, doesn't mean these riders aren't under any..

Next time you complain about a broken arm or leg I'll tell you you're full of shit because I'm in a wheelchair

I used to be a fan of Jase but he gets carried away to much and has had some real whack jobs like Bmayze, Hopper and Grohndal that take value away from his platform.
Jase is like a chameleon though. He always agrees with his guests, doesn’t matter the topic. Some guy could come on and talk about aliens or something and Jase is going to be like “faark yeah bro I saw the same shit the other day”.

I like some of his interviews, but man is he a yes-man.

This is exactly how I felt listening to this interview. I listen to basically all of the major moto pods, and of the many thousands I’ve consumed over the years, that was the worst one.

4 strokes and RC came along and ruined/changed the whole sport. I always go back to MC's book about him and Jimmy Button crashing at a muddy down hill at Hangtown and being over it. They basically said if they pretended their bikes were dead they could leave early and be at Lake Havasu first thing in the morning the next day. Lol could you ever see. RC, RV, Eli, etc.do that? Also the Crusty, Terrifirma, Motoxxx, SMP, etc videos is what really drew me to the sport. I love racing but those guys were living it up back in the day.

After listening to all of the segments posted, the thing I took away was, he doesn't give a flying rat's ass about social media forum kids.

He's made a small fortune from the industry.
And industry we all contribute to.
And all he has to do is keep riding his dirt bike, and deposit the checks.

Didn’t feel good the day after winning that championship? That’s called a hangover bro.

Look up Tyson Fury and what happened to him after his first big championship.

Also, look up Taylor Mckenzie, on what it's like to be the son of a motoGP icon, child prodigy road racer, and the stress involved.

There are so many parallels with MX and boxing, especially the brain damage part and the stress of potential death every time you compete.

It's really easy to discount people when they open up, but if you take the time and energy to listen, empathize and learn, you can even enrich your own life as well as to understand and appreciate others that have had different opportunity, experience and road traveled over yourselves.

Ignorance is easy. Enlightenment takes work.

Jason Anderson is probably the most genuine guy at this level. There's no ego or corporate persona. Doesn't like doing interviews because of some of the idiotic things fans say or judge him on like some of the comments in this thread. Athletes feel like they can't tell the truth about weaknesses as the fans attack them for everything. This sport made JS7 turn his back on it without a single word for years. Of course a supercross championship doesn't feel good when you get smoked at outdoors the next week. I bet Webb's championship is feeling really heavy right now 12 rounds in without a win

How could you listen to this entire interview and not love JA? Dude works hard, cares about his friends and family, and is intelligent and thoughtful.

Because, some folks listen with a strangely biased ear and can't help themselves Grinning

And, that probably includes me! Woohoo
