I don't know what the answer to that would be from me, but my guess is that our citizens are all over the board on it and heavily skewed towards 'none'.

I can say that I'd prefer to arm the Ukrainians and help them defend themselves first, while hoping that American soldiers don't need to get involved in actual combat roles. But if it drags on, atsome point I'd probably end up supporting our troops helping the Ukrainians directly too.

As I said he’s not gonna stop. Just depends on if or when we act. Had we acted sooner before they invaded, it would have been easier. He’s eventually gonna do something to a NATO nation and then it’s game on. Easier to put out wildfires before they spread.

There is a lot on the table for many countries and leaders to just jump in including energy supply loss and sky rocking fuel prices supply issues job loses. Here's hoping someone in Rus goverment finally puts bullet in the back of that mother fuckers head

interesting comment from Ukrainian official that echos what a historian just said on Twitter:
“Putin thinks that Ukraine’s government is corrupt, western and irredeemably Russophobic,” the official said. “He understood the Ukrainian people, by contrast, would welcome Russia and intervention. He considers us to be rural Russians.” Putin’s spy agencies had told him what he wanted to hear, he added.
The official continued: “We have always understood Russians better than they understand us.” Other commentators noted that Putin, an amateur historian, had forgotten one of the great lessons of the second world war – that the best Soviet soldiers were Ukrainian.

All these tank columns and convoys destroyed. Where are the dead Russians ? Where are the footprints in the snow ? What in the hell is going on over there. They could be having lots of desertions, would be easy speaking the same language

Lots of dead people posted on sites with fewer restrictions, whole columns of dead burned bodies next to their vehicles, one i saw was 2 miles long easy, military mixed in with civilian car/trucks, mostly military.

This is looking more and more like the staging for a siege operation. Going door to door in Kiev will inevitably deteriorate into a drawn out guerilla war and I suspect asset and population preservation are high priorities for the invaders. The overwhelming capabilities of the Russians (compared to Ukraine) suggest that they have the resources to handle this invasion exactly the way they want to and these reports of a fumbled first phase are taking for granted that the Russians wanted to keep this war quick and to the point. I think the Russians have designed this campaign to keep it from going ‘unconventional’. There’s a disconnect between the events unfolding and the reporting thereof.
