I have a soft spot for these older 2 strokes that are abandoned and bringing them back to life. This one was a 1994 KX125 that was left for dead. The bike must have spent some time at the bottom of a lake (or out in the rain) as there was rusty water all throughout the engine. Going with the OEM look. Still have the brakes left to go, and some final touches but I think it is turning out pretty clean so far!

Need the rear/sideplate graphics if I can find them and expansion chamber (I have one that came with it, but it is less than optimal).

Nice job! Evo-MX has those side panel graphics. I have nos panels, they come with the graphic.

I didn't see them listed on the Evo-MX site, but sent them an inquiry, thank you! You selling any NOS panels? Smile

They make them, I was going to buy a set for a spare set of side panels.
Sorry, not selling. I have all nos plastics, tank and seat. You can google 1994 KX250 Restoration. I turned it into a supermoto but still have everything to put the bike back to stock. Sucks I put gas in the tank though.

Great, thank you! I will reach out to them.

That looks like a ton of fun! The basement ended up being where I worked on it during the cold months. Plan on riding it a bit before selling and moving on to the next stray rescue

Got the side plate decals from EVO MX (thanks for the reminder to check there Kidkawie)! The green is not quite as vibrant as the Acerbis fender but I am still pleased with the overall look. All I need now is to find a better pipe than the FMF that is on it now. That has proven MOST challenging to find

I think there will be one for sale soon, just a couple states away from you...?
