GL is 100% spot on. Get a panel of ex pro racers to watch the videos of these incidents and let them make a determination. Not someone who has never raced professionally at that level.

GL is Awesome. Again voicing his opinion whether others like it or not. Not that it matters but the I made the same comments in the living room when it happened.

This brings up a whole different subject of penalties. They just need set penalties and adhere to them. Like grant said sometimes it’s positions other times point. This probation is a joke. Barcia Anderson and Friese are on 6 months probation. I disagree with grant that it should be case by case. A habitual line stepper should have less leniency. But if everyone knows what will be penalized going in it would work. The panel of ex pros is nice but any intelligent people involved at the upper echelon will do. the pro angle may be no good as they all have friends and enemies. Stop the fines, stop docking positions. DQ and suspensions for the bad cases.

Who knows the situations better than those that raced at that level? It's not just exp-ros that have friends or favorites.

Do you think everyone running these teams, mechanics, team managers, etc are all ex pros? Some are some aren’t. There are plenty of minds involved with Pro motocross that never raced as a professional. Just like some of the best NFL coaches of all time never played in the league.

I think the commentation on the race by the SX crew was somewhat biased. I don't hear that commentation on NFL football broadcasts. The NFL commentation is just facts and you decide if the penalty is play was good or bad. The umpires and referees tell the story of who's right and wrong but that is part of the NFL game.

I agree with this. Ricky’s reaction immediately biased every viewer in this case. You don’t hear reactions like that from NFL broadcasters.

I do agree that it seems RC can’t stand Friese and what he does. Every time I’ve seen him commentating when Vince gets paid back he can’t contain himself. The Windham one at Monster Cup sounded like it was the greatest thing he’d ever seen.
