If we're talking about moving over in the whoops, Mr. Savatgy would like a word with Craig.

What is a 30 year old guy even doing out there? (“there” being a regional starter class for supercross)

Agree with the OP…Is it really racing if your significantly slower than the guy coming up behind you? At that point Friese was no different than a lapper..

Now if Craig and Friese started together and were battling half the moto with each other, then any form of block passing is fair game..But that’s not what was going on here. They were not battling for position..Friese was a roadblock and he knew it.
Thank you. I know I'm not crazy. Friese is just fast enough to be in the way. He is not a title contender, never has, never will.

Can't believe how blind a lot of other guys are in this discussion.

Vince and he's teams goal is to get a podium. Race what's in front of him? 20seconds off 2nd. Why do you think it's unacceptable to defend your position? In road racing you can literally hold people up the whole race defending. If I was in his position I'd of tried my best to take Craig out for an easy podium and payday. Some right retarded shit on here saying you can race for position because the guy behind is faster it's about as stupid as saying lappers should be black flagged. You can't handle hard racing why the fuck are you watching supercross
Wow listen to you. It's not racing when you stop and break check the guy because you're slow af. Sure he can fight for the for the position but not like a moron. Block his line, not let him pass and then literally aim at Craig just to hit the brakes once you're in front of him. That's not racing It's completely unnecessary. Once you stop racing forward you've lost all respect for racing.

Literally never thought I would be on VF side of ANYTHING bc I tend to agree he is nothing less than a hazard. However, I don't even think people in this thread are joking about the fact that this thread was probably created by his wife who is absolutely insufferable.

CC is a baby and it makes it 10x worse anytime something happens his wife is all over every social media its the worst look possible. Then when he wins a fucking 250 RACE at whatever his big age, hes got his kid up there like he just won a title its so cringe.

TLDR; Man up.
Tf are you guys saying I'm Paige for? She would have to be the dumbest person alive to post about it. Why bring light to it if you're her? You guys are really reaching on this one.

This thread is going nowhere. Just a bunch of hand bags at this point.

There will be a whole new thread by next Sunday.

Not gonna lie, when I opened this and read it I couldn’t help thinking this was either a girl writing or a very feminine guy who doesn’t understand racing at all.

Grow some or pick another sport.

Sounds like some of you guys are completely missing my point. I still believe rubbing is racing. Don't get me wrong. But there's a difference between making an advancement on your position, making a nice aggressive pass, or a last lap victory takeout. And then it's something completely different when you are no longer racing forward, you're just trying to stop on the track and aim at the guy who's going to pass you anyways because you're slower. That's not racing at that point.

Agreed. I’m all for aggressive racing when necessary, but when you know you don’t have the speed and resort to trying to make someone fall to win just reeks of desperation and cowardice. See also: Barcia.

For what it’s worth, Christian didn’t seem too bothered by the move when asked during the post-race presser. Had he gone down, I imagine his tone would have been a bit different.
Craig fully expected the move by Vince. Hell, if Vince would have just held his line Craig would have fallen over from shear bewilderment.

CC is quite a bit annoying to me but I thought his pass on Friese was pretty slick. No issues with the way either rode around each other.

Kinda bizarre Vital is imploding over a pass being made that there wasn't any contact or really any threat of someone getting injured. And when Craig himself was alright with Friese's defense moves.

The defensive moves by Friese were an illustration of a great race craft by Friese. I block people on the last lap of my local races.....there's money on the line in the vet classes so a 2nd to 3rd can mean like 30-40 bucks. Even if the guy behind me is clearly faster....i'll block as best i can. That's what we do. I'm sure the money difference for Friese is more than 30-40 bucks so block away

I guess i just pay more attention to VF. Don’t worry it will be clear by seasons end…….Where’s Weston?
