Hes been out at our local track nearly every weekend its open in recent months...to say he is going fast is an understatement, he can make your head spin with what he can do on a bike. Lately he certainly seems to have upped the intensity and has clearly lost some weight.
Id hoped that he would do this..if he gets on a bike that works for him...people will take notice.
Looking forward to seeing if this all comes to pass.
He really loves to ride and he has incredible ability...Its certainly going to be interesting to follow what happens..
I was just outside near sundown and I could hear someone ripping on a bike..off in the distance...probably Dylan..hes got a couple of tracks hereabouts..
From recollection, the last year he raced supercross here, he finished 5th overall and the last national he raced at Coolum Queensland..sand track...he won...

Always heard he was insanely talented, but he was never dominant or anything if I’m correct results wise.

I can absolutely attest to the fact that he is insanely talented, I watch him ride a lot...when he blows by you out on the track...well it gives you a wakeup as to how fast those guys are really going.
Maybe started too young, maybe never really had to work for it....all speculation...
Maybe this will light a fire under him..he hasn't raced for a couple of years..he's been working for his dad at the depot at Benalla bulk fertilizers...I dont think hes been loving that.
I really think if he got paired with a really good trainer and on a team with a solid bike...he could surprise a lot of people

His name is not on the pre enty list for SanDiego...not surprising..that would have been nuts..no sx in two years then get off a plane and spend 2 days on a new bike then race sandiego..nuh! He's no dummy! He will be wanting to get some serious seat time in b4 he races

Chesney Vale is probably gonna be open Sunday so If I see him out there ,then this was fake news...hoping I dont see him out there, but instead see his name on a pre entry list for round 4...although I think that would still be too soon and unrealistic ..
Oh well...something to relieve the mid week boredom..
I think he realized he wasn’t ready after over 2 years of no racing and got scared plus he wasn’t in the best shape.
I don’t know which day he went home but he didn’t stay for a week.
I would have asked Julien on Saturday but he had a family emergency on the weekend and wasn’t able to be at the race.
PRMX is having hell getting a 450 fill-in. Scott Champion dislocated his shoulder first day on the bike (just going through the whoops, didn’t even crash), Long choosing to not go through with it, and Schmidt raced the bike for two rounds but is going back of his Husky now.
He didn’t feel safe with the suspensions at all those 2 rounds since he wasn’t able to test until today.
Julien needs Nick to keep racing the bike for sponsors obligations.
It’s for sure been hard for Julien! It would be interesting for the Aus local to ask Dylan how he felt.
