This isn't my bike, but I stumbled across a site I have never seen before, MotoHunt, and this bike was on there. Pretty cool for collectors and I think the same dealer has a 1996.

Anybody used MotoHunt before?

Awesome but not new. The seat is wrong and the OEM graphics had 250 on the side plates.

You are correct, definitely not brand new. It looks to be restored, but chain/ Renthal sprocket shows wear and some scuffs here and there. Fresh paint on the frame and new plastics give it a fresh look.

This was a great bike, I had the ‘03 and ‘04 and lived them both !

These bikes hold a special place in my heart. My first ever brand new bike was a 1994 yz 80, I saved up forever for it.

It was also the era that moto videos really came on the scene and our heroes were seen on their bada$$ 93-96 bikes ... and to me, it's CRAZY how stock they appeared. Phenomenal era for sure. Remember Bradshaw in the dunes with Single Gun Theory music? MAGIC!

And yeah ... those 93-95 YZ250 2Ts ... tears, so beautiful. I did end up owning a 92 YZ250 that was advertised as a 93. When I arrived at the Seller's house it was immediately clear it was a mistake, boo. I bought it anyway given how good of a deal it was, but I wanted the 93 sooooo dang bad. I never tasted THAT perfection unfortunately. However, I did get a chance to own a 1996 CR250R - and that was a real gem!

8k…. 😂 I picked up a very clean 93 before all this Covid crap started….Don’t have more than 2500 into this, even after I powdered frame & bought pipe & decals. anyone who is paying these prices will be on the losing end when the world economy corrects itself.

I bought a new 96 and used to ride with my roommate on his 94 out at 271/4 rd all the time…. That’s a blast from the past stone! Loved both of those bikes but the 96 was a huge leap.
