I hope he wins. I’m a fan but HOLY JESUS….another year in THE 250 CLASS. Maybe it’s time that they took a look at how the points are counted and figure this out again. I know….it’s great that he can keep his career going and I’m happy for that. I think they need to take a look at how the points are counted and get back to the spirit of having THE 250 CLASS. Am I off base on this?

Why are you still using the horrible term lites?
Regardless of what peoples opinion is, he’s gonna ride whatever class Star wants him to ride. If Star wanted him on the 450 they’d compensate him nicely for it. It’s soooo stupid when people make stuff up.
But, I could be wrong.
Pit Row
The 125cc class was made years ago before every kid rode SX growing up and there were SX practice tracks everywhere to ride. I know the first time I rode a real SX track was the first practice at the 97 LA coliseum. Lol.
The class was introduced to get the younger guys experience. Those days are over.
Davalos: 104 (Record For Most Starts)
Craig: 48
I feel a lot of younger inexperienced riders are getting injured trying to match it with older experienced guys.
Take 2020 for instance forkner and jett both would have not been injured trying to battle with ferrandis.
You could even have a maximum wage. 100k or something so it entices riders to step up.
But with the wage difference isn't much and there's no age rule. Eligible riders will stay in the class as long as they can
