Anyone been using their off-road, or MX, gear. I really dig what they do, wish they had more color choices on their Off-Road gear but I'm keen to add a set to my Christmas list.

The designs are cool but it’s definitely not as cutting edge as some of the other gear companies. Kind of heavy and thick comparatively. But the durability is top notch

I think that is exactly what they are going for. Not all of us are racing Supercross and want disposable pants. Direct quote from a description for some of their pants on RMATVMC

"Fit, function, simplicity. This pant skips all the over-engineered razzle-dazzle of today's current batch of riding pants and goes straight to the tried and true features that have been time-proven and we know works. With that as the core focus of everything Fasthouse produces, Fasthouse first entry into the pant market is a workhorse.

Durable enough for countless weekends with your friends in the desert or at the track, yet high-performance enough to line up at Supercross."

Personally, I'm a big fan of this approach....I've been at it for 30 years, above average speed and not a single time in my life have I thought "I coulda went faster if only my pants were lighter and less durable" Tongue

I’m a big fan of the pants, super comfortable and adjustable.

I wear Fly myself but several of my friends (B and C riders) wear Fasthouse for offroad and moto. It looks good in my opinion and holds up well for them. The only complaints I've heard from them is that it's thick and is hot/doesn't vent well so they tend to wear different gear during summer.

I wore fly gear from a bunch of years and decided to take a break and try something new a few years ago. I bought 3 set of fasthouse gear and wore them for about 1.5 seasons. The stuff looks really good, and is super durable. My only complaint would be that it isnt as well vented as the other brands. Its not like you will have a heat stroke if you wear it, but you can tell that you arent getting as much airflow in the pant or jersey. I did revert back to fly gear, but I would highly recommend Fasthouse to anyone wanting to try it out.

I really like the look of a lot of their gear, but they don’t have a lot of selection for ‘big boys’.

Also, I don’t think that I could actually pull off wearing gear with the word ‘Fast’ on it without being sued for false advertising……..!

I'm going to have to try it because I am over this paper thin gear. I want something that will protect me in a crash. That's the point.

Is it really? To me the protection comes from boots, knee braces, etc, not the pants and jersey. Maybe a little abrasion resistance but thats about it. For me I want my gear to feel like nothing is there and help me stay cool with as little restriction as possible.

I wear all the other safety gear. I turn 40 in a couple weeks so I dress for the crash these days. Just irritates me to have a small slide out in a corner and tear a jersey and get rashed up. I think we have just gone too far towards ventilation and not enough protection. I wore full cotton jerseys back in the day though. I think if we went back about 10 years or so that was the sweet spot on jerseys at least. I don't have a big issue with pants usually.

It's my go to. I ride tracks when I can, but spend a lot of time offroad. It has similar durability to moto gear in the early to mid 2000's. When I crash in this gear I'm not immediately concerned if I shredded it to pieces like I am with other gear.

As far as fit goes, the best compliment I have is, I never think about the gear while I'm riding. it fits well and does what it's supposed to do.

You can also get some great deals on it if you keep an eye out for sales.

Just buy the budget lines. They are usually thicker more durable material.

I get your point but the new stuff is so freaking comfortable. Especially in the hot humid south. I know its less durable but I put on my older gear and its like damn..this shit is heavy and hot. I ride off road a lot to and I'm hard on gear but I'm personally in love with the lightweight stuff.

I love the look of some of that stuff but no leather in the knees is a no go. That nylon stuff doesn't last.

Totally agree. And conveyed that exact same thing personally at Red Bud MXON. I see they are making beer gut sizes now for us older dudes, which was my other suggestion, so hopefully genuine leather knees are a possibility in the future🤞🏻🤞🏻 Love me some Made In 🇺🇸 and would like to support the company. That young man and his Dad came across as good salt of the earth Moto people, and I commend his endeavors.
