LMAO whatever. Im die hard zook. Won my share of Motos and many holeshots on them! What I really need to do is get my fat ass back in shape and put the fork down to be serious. IF I do make a change it will to a Honda or Kawi.

LMAO nope I just maintain my shit. I lmao at these guys that wine and complain that there motor grenaded with (only) 100 plus hours. If you run your bike more than 75hrs and you race not put around trails and your shit blows up......You get what you deserve I dont care what color you ride. My bikes always look sound and run like brand new! I also go threw the suspension every 15-25hrs max as well. I know it aint cheap but my saying is. If your serious about your results then be serious about your equipment if you cant afford it get out and play a stick and ball sport, hunt or fish. Motorsports are not a poor mans game. Im not rich but am blessed that I make a good living and can do what I do....Show your girls some love or they will shit on you eventually!
Remember these are high performance race bikes not trail bikes. If your going to play ride and dont want to do the maintenance buy an XR DRZ KLX those will run forever!

Honest question: Do you feel like you should quit the sport when a Suzuki passes you?

I blew by a lotttttt of guys this past weekend on my RMZ250 at southwick 🤣🤣
At an Open Practice!!! Ha! Just giving you crap. I ride a 18 rmz 450 and love it. A lot more then the Husky FC 350’s and 450 that I used to own. The bike does everything that an average Vet rider needs except have the magic button.

Yes (unless I crash or fall in a corner, of course). But that hasn't happened since ~ 2009.

Suzuki has a new president coming in. He is pro mx and sx as well as mx bike development. Suzuki is developing a new RMZ they were trying to get it out this yr but covid slowed things down and they didnt think they could make production deadlines. So looks like its going to be 2022. (pos early 2022) JGR has a new outside title sponsor for next yr and is staying with Suzuki.

YUP! I believe I was told accurate info at the time and the fact that 0 has come to be is NOT GOOD for the yellow brand. For 22 they didnt even bother with BNG WTH. If I buy a new bike for next season it will prob be green or red

So sounds like you'll finally be taking your results seriously for a change.
Word of advice when you hop on a new bike, take it easy for the first few laps. It's going to be faster, lighter, and better handling than an RMZ

So, can we get the thread retitled to 2023 RMZ450?

LMAO Ya I dont think so. The bike in its self wont effect my results. I put that all on myself with the rare exception to a flame out and not having Estart. I hardly think a new bike of any brand will help. Unless I stall it. IT is all skill and fitness level at the less than PRO level and for me I can improve both of those wayyyyy more than Suzuki or any other brand can improve results.

His rumors are about as reliable as him paying on his bets, neither actually happen. He still has 2 weeks to make good on his $300.

Look for suzuki to push heavily in street and supermoto, less in moto.

Everyone goes to Walmart. I drive my diesel truck around the parking lot on Friday night.

Suzuki is like Chik-Fil-A. A little old school, but you know damn well it’s going to be right. And also has that special perk none of the other places (bikes) have. Turns on a dime. Go find that on another OEM and get back to me. Whistling

Suzuki faithful got a lot of mileage out of that narrative, but the truth is KTM and Honda turn just as well and handle better and have for a while now.

I can’t lie, I’ve ridden all the newer 450s, owned a 19 Kawi and got a good deal on a 18 RMZ450 a few months ago. I love it! Handles amazing, doesn’t rip my arms off, easy to use power. I’d definitely buy another one! At the end of the day, all the newer 450s are so good
