So I bought a very well used bike. Worn out and trashed out is more appropriate. Bought it from a dirt bag in AZ. More on that another time. Bought it over 2 years ago. Still has problems. Practically every nut and bolt is worn out.
So the original cylinder was bored out beyond it's limits. It wouldn't run, even though seller says it was completely rebuilt. You could see where someone had been in engine. Local engine guy sells me another cylinder and piston rings etc. $500. Takes my cylinder as a trade in. Jump ahead over a year later til now. Finally putting engine together. His cylinder has a small crack in sleeve, so its useless.
My mechanic friend contacts Millennial In WI? I think thats correct. They don't have access to a sleeve.
So I need some one who has access to sleeve and/or can install/bore sleeve to match piston rings I already have. 1987 Honda Cr 500 .
Millennial mentioned group in LA, CA who may be able to manufacture sleeve but I'm asking here first. Thanks.
BTW I have contacted well known seller in AZ to discuss. He called me names.
