Who Makes the Most from Motocross

It looked to me like MX Sports had a LOT of overhead at a national, so they probably get the biggest piece of the pie for that very reason. I think the riders get the smallest piece, and track takes the biggest risk financially, but their piece could be the biggest if the butts are in the stands. Or the track can lose their shorts if not enough people show up.

I find it hard to believe any YouTuber is making more then luongo/FIM/ feld.

It’s always the organizer making the most.

Why throw Luongo, FIM, and Feld under the bus but DC, AMA and MXSports gets a pass??
I’m not throwing anyone under the bus. That’s just who I think makes the most.

We’ll it’s MXSports’ program but I don’t think they make much at all. Im not exactly sure where DC makes his money from. Sponsors obviously, but there’s not that many.

MXSports provides a series of races for the OEMs to showcase their machinery. AMA helps with the rules. Sponsors help fund it somewhat.

No contest on who makes the most. It is a select few of the clothing, boot, and gear manufacturers.

no idea who makes the most $$ but to be able to watch the insane racing we got this year from my couch (I used NBC sports gold so no ad issues) with a couple of beers on one side side and a mountain of Doritos on the other side of me - made my Saturdays immeasurably better. I think the fans definitely won in 2021 regardless of all the other politics.

I think the last gncc had something like 2700 rider entries which would be around $135,000 for entry fees alone then you have gate fees, transponder fees, vendor fees ect. Easily took in half a million for that single gncc before sponsors. I know it takes a lot to run those races and i don't have any idea what all the expenses are. I do know those swecos aint cheap and i imagine the land owners are compensated well?.

At the end of the day though mxsports is bringing it in and they earn it as well can't take that away from them.
