I have a hard time believing Blake raced for the fans. He may be entertainment for us but I doubt that’s why he lined up on the gate. Racers race.

Do you really pay money just to cheer for someone you don’t know? Where is the fine print on the ticket outlining the perks and expectations of being a loyal fan? Did you let Blake know that you would only be a loyal fan if he kept you in the loop on his personal goings on? Maybe if he would have known beforehand he could have told you to save your cheers for someone else.

Also, you might want to look in the mirror before commenting on how someone’s parents should feel about how their kid turned out. Would your parents be proud of your entitled childish demands that someone you don’t know needs to communicate with you so you can feel validated as a fan?

Maybe it’s because I am old but isn’t good racing enough no matter who lines up? This seasons SX and MX has been some of the best racing action in years. Hope it continues regardless of who posts what for the “fans”.

In the 2022 national numbers video by Racer-X, it was mentioned that BB was contacted to see if he would like to hold the #4 for another year, he didn’t respond.

Truthfully Blake doesn’t need to make a retirement announcement because he’s not really retiring. He’s quitting to go work for his steel company. If u have to work after racing, it is quitting, not retiring.
