Well I got a Twin Air kit coming from another member and a Cycra cover. I’m sure that will be a nice addition.

Twin air powerflow kit+ crm airbox cover + twisted development tune

The bike feels like mini 450, 3th gear is longer and pulls much further...

Pretty much if you have the coin, a screenless intake setup, airbox cover, and a tuned Vortex ECU is the ticket. Maybe a slip on to help with noise/looks. After that suspension setup to his/her liking and maybe a small gearing change.

I think all said and done its a $1000. I believe the ECU is 700. You could try that then decide if you want the TD maps. But might as well go in 100%!

Haha, No Toil is back in stock at Rocky Mountain, if anyone needs one.

But I have this now. Also should have the Cycra cover today or tomorrow. Are you guys needing to do any fueling changes with this setup?

No the bike will automatically adjust it with FI. Don’t get turned off of the vortex. They can go from bike to bike on multiple years.

Exactly, its more of an investment like buying a-kit in a way. However the shell is different for the YZs vs other brands. I do believe other brands have the same connector but just need a reflash. I could be wrong.

Just picked up my ‘22 the other day. First Yamaha I’ve owned and I absolutely love it besides how loud it is. I had to wear ear plugs it was so bad. What’s the best exhaust to quiet these things down? Or is that even possible? Probably would just be looking for a slip on right now

Stock exhaust is loud. Any aftermarket will actually quiet it down.

That’s exactly the problem I’m running into, I’d love to get a pro circuit but I can’t find them. Looks like I’ll be going with an FMF

Im running the no toil setup with a slater skins cover. This weekend I tried the "2020 feel" map and "exciting power" map. Both were good choices and complimented the different intake setup much better than the 2 keefer maps that I was using(free feeling and midrange/topend). I stayed with the exciting power map. The bottom end was more lively and snappy down low.

I just picked up a vortex ecu locally, so I will try that out this weekend.

Grinning I need to stay out of this forum aswell.

*googles what a vortex and TD Tune can do to a WR250f*
Pinch

I put a ktm master cylinder on my bike during the week. Along with a older Yamaha caliper (bigger pistons)
Excited to see how it goes.
Was an absolute bitch to bleed but I’ve finally got pressure. It’s still pretty spongey but I’m hoping a zip tie and a few days rest will get it to settle.

I tried KTM master cylinder on 2015 YZ250F, but never managed to get it firm so I ditched it. Let us know your experience.

Nope, but also tried rebuild kit. Unfortunately, that didn't help much.

This is the 1 that I have. I assume it's the same as the 1 mentioned above.

So I looked up that map on the MXA website after seeing this. I’ve noticed this with yours and a lot of people who are copying these maps, they have the values correct, but not the position. Just as an FYI.

*edit - Nevermind I see what you are saying. I had the positions wrong on mine as well. I went back and looked. Thanks for pointing that out. I went through and checked all of mine again and for some reason I must have forgot to change the position on the MXA ones when I entered them lol. All fixed now.
