2002 kx 125 swingarm

Ive got myself a 2002 kx 125 project bike to work on and i have found a fair size dent in the swing arm.
Would anyone know if a swingarm from a newer kx 125 fit?
The newer swingarms look a lot nicer than the old square style.

The 2003 might work , I dont know if this is the case but they shared the "same" linkage design.

I would prob stick to a 00-02 (97-02 might work)

Hopefully someone with greater kx tech knowledge will come with a better reply.

The other thing to consider is that is in the era when rear axle diameters were increasing in size. 00 thru 02 / 03. Anything 99 n older will have the smaller size axle.

Yes ,up until 02 they used the smaller axle(20 mm) 03- 25mm.

Sounds like by changing the swingarm it wil open a can of worms.
Would jb weld work on the dent to fill it out? Has anyone used it on a swingarm before and know if it bonds well and blends in.
The dent is half way down the outside of the swingarm about an inch square but not too deep.
A full length swingarm sticker would cover it up if the jb weld works.

2003 and newer have larger axle. IIRC, it wont work because of the linkage.
