Paul Webb back to Yamaha?

I think Webb is signed through 2022, but who knows after that. I'm sure he is happy where he is at, but I also think that if he was riding a Star 450 in '17 &'18 rather than the factory bike that he was not allowed to make changes to that he likely never would have left. He had a very good run with Star and he is well aware of that.

Granted, I'm not a huge fan of a lot of Cooksey's stuff but I'll still watch a video (I don't even know what he looks like, so I didn't even realize who the people were in that video.) It's not that big of a deal. No one has to take what they say as the law, it's just an opinion/speculation. Just like people who can't enjoy Pulp shows and also Whiskey Throttle or Gypsy, in addition. It's not a gang or some sort of association to watch or listen to more than 1 outlet. It's just watching videos about moto. People need to lighten up.
It's not really about Pulp... it's more about that Cooksey doesn't actually "break news".... he jumps on the coattails of others like Pulp and Swap Moto etc. that have done the work, put in the time and built the relationships to be able to get the scoops.

Cooksey doesn't actually report on shit, he sensationalizes news that others have already put out there to get clicks.

Even when the guy just makes shit up….and to call him a media outlet, seriously….the guy just makes shit up to get clicks and views…

I totally get that part of it, as a big picture thing. But if I catch myself reading or watching some of his content, it's mainly just because he sometimes thinks outside the box and has his own opinions and it's just something else to listen to. I catch bits and pieces of almost all of the different outlets in the industry. It just seems silly to get so bent over certain people or shows that you can't even "give them clicks." And as far as I know, there isn't 1 guy or outlet who is always right or knows every rumor abut everything first. So if it's something interesting, then so be it.

Like I said, I didn't find that video to be asinine. It was for the most part someone's take on who could be moving where. As far as Webb, I have a hard time believing that he wants to go back to Yamaha but who knows. Like mentioned above, maybe he had a better relationship with the personnel over there and maybe if the 450 was as good then as it was now, he would've stayed.

I don’t know if Star is the team everyone wants to be on or not, but I would say it’s foolish to think Tomac signed there without riding the bike first.

Everyone knows that Cooper is his preferred name - that’s what he goes by. If someone knows that your preferred name is something other than your given name and they purposely call you (or refer to you) by your given name anyway, they’re being a dick. I have a hard time believing that this is difficult to see.
