Or it could also mean that Dylan is forgoing a single digit in preference of the 14 which is doubtful, but possible.

Cooper wanted the 14 as his PN last year so I would think he has that and DF has the 8, 5 and 13 are vacant.

If Zach took a single digit then Jett's assigned number would be 16, so by Zach keeping 16 and Dylan opting for either 5 or 8 put's Jett at either 13 or 18 with 13 being optional....

I figured ZO wouldn't because he didn't do it when he won his outdoor title on the 250s. Almost expected Ferrandis to though. I think if BB4 was retired, he would've taken the #4. I believe he was #4 in MX2 if my memory serves me correctly.

QUESTION - If BB4 retires next year for example, the following season, could DF14 take it since he opted out of a career number change or are you only allowed to change to a single digit # the year you win a title??

I was on the single digit wagon for Zacho...would’ve loved to see the #8 on a white bike a la Bradshaw. I respect the choice to keep #16 since it’s been mighty good to him.

Also pumped for Christian Craig to get the #29. Always look to see who gets “Shorty’s” number. How cool is it that they’re both on Yamahas—hoping for big things from the “new” 29...maybe it’ll become a career number after the 2021 season. I think CC could get top 10 overall in combined points.

I always geek out for new numbers day. Something fairly safe & fun to benchrace about in the offseason.

Am I right in thinking the #4 will be available?
Baggett hasn't scored a point this year and reports from people who seem to know on here suggest he won't be scoring a point next year either..

i think Bagget will be back for 2022.
But if Jett wins the outdoor title and the 4 is free.. I cant see him passing that up. Plus i reckon RC would be all for it haha

I think Ferrandis technically has first choice of a single digit before whoever wins this year. Dylan ran 4 back in Europe and decided to wait on choosing a single digit from last year. My guess is if the 4 becomes available, Ferrandis will grab it.
