I was watching the movie last night and it had a scene in which someone asked for the name of the driver.
They responded "Chad, Chad Reed" then it was followed with "thats a horrible name!"

Maybe Chad is buddies with someone in the movie , or just a random coincidence?

Anyways I thought it would share.

The wife and I watched that movie the other night and we laughed when we heard that part. With the star power in that movie it had the potential to be great but it fell WAY short.

I put up a post on this a month or so ago.

I don't think anyone believed me.

It surprised me at the time, and a few fellow viewers seemed startled by my chuckling over it.

As I wrote in my post, someone(s) must be into SX / MX , at the studio, over and above the usual Stunt crew, who always seem to be in the thick of MX.

Maybe the movie wasn't out a the time, in many areas - our cinemas have been open for business for a long time now, after only a short C-9 shut down.

I remember seeing your thread. It got absolutely no traction.

Probably because of the disturbing notes about the R6 prang. I took the couple of down votes as people seeing it in the light I put it. Not the sort of thing you"d put a thumbs up to.

Sadly, the rider did die.

And, it was one of the young blokes I had spoken to, to try to give them some guidance, not a bollocking. I offered to help them out with Track Days at our nearby Eastern Creek Raceway. They seemed pretty interested, but, he never got the opportunity to get into track riding. His mate on the DRZ SM, I've not seen around at all, since.

I couldn't believe that the totalled bike was left in the gutter for a few days, with a dreadful oil and blood puddle under it. That was just strange, and disturbing.

Speaking of movies and moto, What happened to Bryan Friday? Did he just get tired of this place? Or have I just missed his comments over the last several years?
