My biggest gripe is all the people who just have to shit on everything about SX/MX the tracks suck, the announcer's suck, the TV coverage sucks, the race schedule sucks, the races are too short, the lap times are to short, the flaggers suck, Field sucks, the rules suck, MX sports sucks, LLs sucks , all the different classes suck etc, etc.and I swear its the same core group of members who complain about almost everything. Why the hell do these guys even watch or come to Vital if they hate everything about the races and the sport? if they don't like it then just go away and find another sport. Sick cant we just show them the door and they can take their bitching someplace else?

Correct! I also think that having a "sticky" menu up at the top would really improve the site.

Also creating Sub-Menu for Forum "tab", where on hover-action, the user would be able to see forum categories would be great. I sometimes (multiple times a day) visit forum and need to go through the Forum "main" page to choose the section I want to go to.

Not sure if it was mentioned before, but having the ability to "pin/make favourite/save" some threads would be great! Sure I do put them in my browser bookmarks, but if I am 100% of a time logged into Vital, once I get here I would like to have "my profile" section a bit more clear and useful. And one of those useful things could be "pins/favourites/saved" so I can kind of store my favourite Threads or Bike builds etc...

Would like if when you go to an "already read" thread it took you to the last page. Thanks Gibby and crew for considering this..

I would like to have the ability to "Star," the legit informative topics and create my own favourates list by pushing them to the top of my list thus bypassing all the bullshit that pops up daily.

Also a commom gripe amongst many members are the controversial downvotes. Make them public for all to see as the downvotes cause animosity amongst members.

Some my have noticed but I'm starting to post less as the quality of the topics are on a downward spiral.

Respect to all you mods and all the great effort you put in....I do appreciate that your work cannot please everyone, hence me wanting my own limited ability to bump the crap down the list thus leaving me to enjoy the informative and often entertaining fun topics.

Remember the old saying....it takes a teaspoon of shit to spoil a tub of strawberries.

Thank you Mods.
Actually yes, to be able to save an informative thread or post would be helpful.

If I could change anything it would be the moderation tools and more strict forum rules to get rid of the toxicity.

This is one the most toxic forums I frequent and seems to the community almost to wear it like a badge of honor and claim "well there's worse out there". So what if there is?

I'm mainly a lurker and been around long enough to see a pattern that new users tend to get piled on by old timers, people fly off the handle and drop guttural insults at each other over the slightest things.
Without naming anyone, I've also noticed that a few older members seemed to have dropped off, hinting they don't like what the place has become.

Who would have thought that grown adults who do something as cool as ride dirt bikes would rag on each other from behind their keyboards so much. It's really hard to find a single thread on here that doesnt contain a personal insult or snide remark in some form or another.
I get it that people will disagree and there needs to be discussion as it's an online forum ..not to mention I can be no saint as well my post history is not squeaky clean.

This place is world renown for American Motocross (that's why I come here) and if it was more welcoming it might even help "grow the sport" more. Right now is the worst it's ever been IMO...you see people get clicked for seemingly trivial things, then you see users getting away with starting troll posts just to stir shit...eg the race bait crap that's been going on lately.
I think this is the result of there being so much for the moderators to deal with.

Probably the best example of a well moderated forum with almost zero toxicity I know of is the Australian Whirlpool forums. The community basically has the tools to moderate itself.
Users are able to report posts to mods making cleanup easier with trash posts hidden and trash threads removed before they get a start. Personal attacks are always removed with reason "personal attack" because what value do they add???...and because of that they are rare. It's also a thriving and extremely busy web site.

That's my 2 cents...and remove the thumbs up/down, it's only added to the toxicity.

How about being able to edit a quote? Sometimes there is a long post that covers multiple things and I’d like to respond to a certain part and delete the rest so they know that’s what I’m talking about.

Start a mini dad section for us newbies trying to figure out how to get our kids into this amazing sport and support each other with help and tips. Second is only a wish, that isn't pointed at administration, but to the users.... don't ruin a good thing and let this be a place that we can thrive on as a moto community.

Create a want to buy or looking for sub forum because the for sale section is plagued with more people looking for works parts than people selling parts

Y'all do know this has always been "the mean place," right?

It's also the most honest place because of it. No sugar coating.

and it was worse, now it's super soft compared to how it was.
