Well, we missed out on the last puppy, but ended up bringing home a Moose instead. The last pup was caught as a stray, and was terrified of everything. Moose’s mom was a stray, but he was born in contact with humans, so he’s a happy boy. First puppy I’ve had in almost 30 years.

Update: coccidia is gone, got our first parvo vaccine then she came down with a UTI. Now we are on antibiotics for two weeks then we can get round 2 of parvo. Growing like a weed though. She’s up to 18 lbs and she was 5 at her first vet visit.

Both pups are officially joined at the hip. Glad the older one came around.

Nice ! Glad to see them getting along ! Our daughters new addition “Beans” is turning out to have a great temperament. Thankfully so as they have a 15 month old daughter and another on the way. He made friends with her, their cat, and our dog right away.

Just picked this little mutt up Saturday morning. Girlfriends first pet ever so this will be fun. I was kinda hoping he'd give her a lil hell but so far this pup is easy. Doesn't bark at anything right away. You can actually watch him think it over. Doesn't get super excited seeing other dogs. Want to play but not all over. Gonna be a few more weeks until he can be by other dogs. No real accidents, the one was as much our fault as his. This is like that first easy child that leads to the demon second child.

Moose is doing well. He scored some new bling (as Guy Fieri would say) with his name on it, straight outta Canada.

Nothing expensive eaten so far, but when we leave him alone for too long, he becomes a pee/poop machine.

I may have started an instagram account for our little guy.

I am enjoying having a Pup so much... haven't had a pet since I was a kid, it's just been great. The amount of laughs he's made for my kids is absolutely priceless. Best decision ever!

We’ve had our eye out for another Saint Bernard within a couple hundred miles for the past bit. The wife texts me yesterday and says there is a litter of puppies ready to go right down the road. Kinda surprising since we live in a town of around 6000 people. We brought him home tonight. The one in the background is our 8 year old tank.

I added this guy to my family about 5 weeks ago. He was a rescue out of a village in Alaska called "McGrath" almost named him McGrath or MC but his name was Cyborg and I liked the name Borg. Didnt know it was a star trek race but it fits him. I think he is a German Shepard Malamute mix.

He's been an amazing puppy, listens good, picks up things fast, incredibly sweet and gentle and when the other dogs run off 50 yards infront of me walking through fields he always stays near me.

Hold your little furry friends tight guys.

Our dear little Banjo bear has passed. He was attacked by another dog and died instantly. I pulled the other dog off, happened right at my feet.

We’re devastated. My daughter is still crying, my Wife is consoling her in bed now. I finally got my son to sleep... and then buried our little guy in the orchard under a lemon tree.

I’m so fucking sad. He was only 5 months old and his star shone so bright, everyone loved him the moment they saw him and he thought everyone was his best friend too. My Daughter has been struggling with anxiety at school and Banjo had all but cured it, we’re dreading school drop off tomorrow.

Please give your little friends a pat and a cuddle for us down here, we’re very sad and miss out little bear so much.

Dang man that’s the worst way for a good boy to go. Sorry to hear it. Hopefully your daughter can cope alright. That’s such a bummer.

Maeby is getting bigger on us. She’s a little shit right now but she’s fun to have around. Older dog is officially attached to her now.

I'm sorry to hear that, Crush. Banjo was the same age as Moose. Even though we've only had him for a few months, I can't imagine how I'd react if something were to happen to him.
