Thanks to everyone who posted some feedback so far.

I installed the Pro Taper pegs and did some testing over the weekend.

Again I went with the -5 mm on the cleat and this made a huge difference for me! They also have a slight arch to them which I love and it made shifting so much better. I never missed a shift. They had a good amount of grip and they are slightly wider than stock. I am still curious to see the durability of them. I will post updates in the future when I get some more time on them.

BryanB139 - just curious, how tall are you?

I have been thinking about trying a set of lower pegs as well.

I am a little under 6'2. I feel the KTM/ Husky/ GasGas peg to top of seat height is short so dropping the pegs a tad and adding the taller seat helped out a lot.

Looking to get some new pegs as well, does anyone have experience with Fastway pegs vs the Pro Tapers?

I ran those pegs for a little bit. They work great when new but the top cleats wear out really fast. They did for me anyway; I hope you have better luck with them. I switched to the evo 4’s. They are a little heavier but they last forever, and they have an extra 5mm of drop too. I like them a lot more. But it’s all opinion.

Thanks Bryan. I am the same height as you. I tend to run 5mm bar risers and have ran taller seat. I haven’t tried the lower pegs yet and still need to get a taller seat for my Gas Gas. I may have to try the pegs now. The stock seat foam has turned into a sponge couch already.

They are UFO. Technically they are for a husky but they fit the Gas Gas.

Yea I got the Guts complete seat. I got it with the stiff foam because I figured after a few hours it will breakdown and be a little softer. I think the Guts is like 15 mil taller. I am a fan of it for sure.

How's the bike/build coming along? Have you used point view cycle for any engine work? I saw they have a race head package, but have never used them before.
