You will all be over it in a week and on to the next Vital most hated ... Marchbanks has done what many others including Macadoo has done before . if you listen to the RC and Emig podcast Macadoo admits he too was put on a year probation for taking a rider out so EVERY rider has done stupid moves so lower the pitchforks you are all just up in arms cause it was the terminator from Tuesday that got dished out some . As long as Marchbanks learns from it and doesn’t make a habit of it it’s just another bad racing incident that will be forgotten like the 50 other ones before this .

Grow the fuck up. Racing is racing. I’m a new fan of Marchbanks after that pass!
A pass is something that actually gets completed with both riders exiting the corner. That was a train wreck followed by a who-can-get-up-the-fastest contest.

So you don’t like people MAYBE causing others to get hurt unintentionally, yet you support intentionally crashing another rider and perhaps causing them to get hurt....

Makes sense.

Unpopular opinion: Mcadoo was a fucking hazard out there last Saturday night. Beatin' up and riding like a lunatic. I would not be surprised one bit if he was cross jumping intentionally to try and salvage position. We never saw the footage and we will never know, but based on all the other carnage that surrounded Mcadoo the ENTIRE day it doesn't seem too far fetched that he would be riding desperately to salvage the night and making questionable decisions. He could have very well deserved that take out

I was walking through the airport in Salt Lake the week after Marchbanks 2nd place in San Diego. I saw him getting a bite to eat, and said "nice race Garrett." He responded with a thank you, and then invited me to sit. We had a 15 minute (or so) discussion about moto, racing, my kid, and who knows what else, and then I had to catch my plane, so I let him go. He seemed like a nice kid, and he probably made a hell of a mistake last week. But I ride and race, and I've let the red mist piss me off into stupidity too, more when I was young. But even after I was "young."

Regardless, I like him, from my own personal dealing with him. Take responsibility and move on. That's what he should do. Just like forgetting a bad race. Just get to the next one, and try to do better.

The problem is i havent seen 1 interview that he doesnt come across as a douchebag, everything i have seen he comes across as someone id want to be a fan of. When you win Daytona and dont have a ride clearly the industry is in the same boat

I’m not understanding the problem ? Might be a problem for you, but really your perception of him isn’t a problem. That’s cool you think that I guess. But he’s kicking ass against top tier money teams on limited resource clubmx bike....that’s something by itself that makes it worth rooting for. not taking anytning away from clubs team. Reality is factories aint throwin them guys equipment. That’s true grit runnin up front. Threads like this make me hope it fuels the burn and Marchbanks lights these last three rounds up.

Grow the fuck up. Racing is racing. I’m a new fan of Marchbanks after that pass!
Looks like it
