here i am the last time i went to village creek:

i had just cased a double and shattered my lower leg/ankle. i'm heading for the pro med cart, visible in the background. i ended up with this:

i was out for over three years with that injury.

i just might have to show up for this.

You wouldn't recognize the place now, it's changed many times since then.

T.R. is working on digging that out where BOSS is as we speak. Make it or break it, baby!!!

It took me a while to figure out where the hell Y'all were. For anyone who's still not sure what they're seeing, that's a total improvisation from one old berm to another...I think.

If you can make it all the way from Dallas, you bet. You might have to take a couple of days off for travel time.

Ive been trying to figure this one out too and I think I got. Is it towards the bottom of the track, once you make your way down the side of the hill, then you take a sweeping right into a sharp left? Is that the takeoff? where the dirt is a little more black then the rest of the track?

Close, but the take-off appears to be the old "Bowl" turn at the bottom. He's jumping the new section leading to the new sweeper. The track lane going from left to right behind BOSS is the approach to the old bowl berm.

It's a trip. As much time as I spend out there, sometimes Reemer shoots something I have a really hard time figuring out. Even if it's a track shot. The prespectives just fool the mind sometimes.

Yes, that is one berm to another. It was very unpleasant to watch Aaron test it. Why is TR digging that out? Better yet, why am i asking you this now knowing your are currently trackside, probably just beginning the 2nd moto of A class? Maybe i'll txt msg you instead, you are a texting fiend.

Sheriff, you can ride my 78 YZ250. It's a hoot, or maybe that's a hollar? either way, kind of a scary ride but you are VU prepared. At any rate, we'll have a couple peeps out there from txmx.com so there will be plenty of bikes.

The landing was the berm just before Shelmans double. Dude, he guided that thing between about 15 different trees, yikes.

He's not digging anything out. I was just flailing away at a lame attempt at a joke. As if that jump isn't crazy enough, I thought saying we were going to make it scarier would be...Oh nevermind...

That's a long assed way, anyone measure it?

I may have to show up for the woods portion of the ride, the DRZ don't care for the track.
