Bell Moto 10 already Snell certified?

I came across this today, it says that the Bell Moto 10 Flex is already Snell certified. Just found it interesting.

It would need to be (or DOT certified but I think Bell just does Snell) in order for the pros to be running it. It will be available to the public soon.

Not surprised. if i were in the helmet business id want a snell rating before i even showcase the helmet just for marketing reasons. The design itself affects that rating too. Probably cant even show it before its snell rated due to potential design change reqs.

There has been a line of thought for at least a decade that Snell helmets are over designed, and are more effective For road racing high speed impacts, and do a poor job of the far more common low speed dirtbike concussion causing injuries.
