That was the only time Seb sported the #1 plate then right? The Budds GP was in 1999 the same year that Tortelli moved to the US.

No fear gear and spy goggles.. He was one of the only factory honda guys to rep that combo. I wasn't racing back then but I remember seeing pics and video...

Bonus for any hardcore east coaster who can name this closed Maryland track.

1997, Henry and McGrath. Could be Dowd, though.

That is MC during his 97 national run on Suzukis. The Yamaha guy isn't Button. There is some glare on his number.

It's Lusk running the number 11. They went at it pretty good that day.

One more. Also the USGP at Budds Creek. I actually can't remember who #3 is. These are old pics I was scanning in today. The two other guys up front are very well known.

Pit Beirer was #3 in 1999.

But I think your photo (start) is not about the 1999 250cc US GP in Budds Creek.

Maybe taken from a support race the same day ???

Windham scored 3/1 and won the event, while Everts scored 1/3.

Suzuki rider is Albertyn I believe.
I thought the Honda guy was Windham, but now I wonder. It could possibly be DeMaria. I think it is #2.

Demaria rode the 500cc class in 1999.

Everts was #2 on a Honda.

But you have to think seriously about that, because I can't recognize anyone on your pic...

Not Aquasco.
This track was the site of the Blue/Grey Challenge (Virginia D13 vs. Maryland D7).

As for the other pic, Number 2 in front must be Everts.
