You're the man, thanks for that.

The others had a lead time of 1+ month because it was coming from China.

Thanks again!

Cool little 'works' part from P3 Carbon. Due to my offroad background I have a concern the hole in the side panel will be a good spot for additional dust and dirt to suck in and prematurely cover the air filter... P3 makes this little rivet on cover that covers the hole...

*tape is just for pictures*

Looks cool but wouldn't that significantly impact airflow into the engine since the airbox isn't open on top?

I don't believe so..Or at least not enough that it would have large enough impact on performance. I don't see it any different then a KTM airbox vented cover then a non-vented one...

I don't need to squeeze every last HP out of my bike in the bush.

P3 shows theirs as drilled, so worst case I drill a few holes of my own...

Wait what ? The only place it can suck air is from the bottom which would have more dust and is very very small. That thing just got super choked up

I ordered some other generic billet buttons on ebay for my 2021 KX250. They came with barrel style connectors. I wanted to keep it oem plug and play so I ordered a couple of these OEM style plugs from corsa technic instead of hacking stock wiring apart. That shit drives me crazy.

Cool. I couldn’t find any, so I had to adapt a pc fan connector.

I talked to P3 about the holes. Their response was that the picture shown is from a Factory team using it, and not what others have done. Otherwise installation was simple. Unfortunately the graphics fold into the slot so I had to make some cuts.

I disagree with your statement about choking the motor. Air is pulled from multiple areas, it's a closed airbox but not a sealed airbox. I played back and forth with the vented airbox and non-vented in my previous KTM/HUSQVARNA and the difference was barely noticeable outside maybe a hair better throttle response. I don't ride in the upper RPM ranges where air flow would be more critical.

If I'm wrong, simple to make a few holes.

Has anyone tried Race Tech Gold Valves in the forks on these bikes? I have stiffer springs front and rear and raised the fork oil level just a bit to prevent bottoming. I’m happy with the shock now, but I feel like the forks still dive a bit more than I would like. I was thinking about buying a Gold Valve kit, but I’d like to get some feedback from people who have installed one.

FYI, I did motos on both Sunday and Monday (4-15min motos). Other then keep the filter cleaner, there is no power loss using the P3 cover... .

Only place that's open and doesn't have ice underneath. I tried heading up the hill, made it about a 1000ft in elevation and though the ground looks good, 1in down its ice...

Got the MX-Tech Natty bolted up.. Pretty excited to get this thing out tomorrow... Nearly a 1lb weight savings between the stock shock and Natty (both using a 5.7kg spring)

I have gold valves, they are good but not game changer! I still thitif I play with them som more they can be better! If you think your having a diving problem you can go in on the comp. or go up on the spring rate

I already went from the ,50 stock to .53 spring rate. I’ve put the clickers in 4 clicks, and they still dive. If I go further than that, they feel harsh and my front wheel traction is reduced.

Out at last. The engine hangers work wonders.

Has anyone went to a softer spring rate? I’m 160 w/o gear riding just moto. I had my new stuff revalved w/ the stock springs and the forks feel stiff/harsh. Curious if anyone in that weight range went with a softer spring rate. TIA!

A lot of times harshness is from the suspension riding too low in the stroke because it is actually too soft just a thought.

Be careful on these. I stripped mine because I’m a moron but I was using a torque wrench. These are one of the Kawasaki things that are right on the edge

True. I put carbon hangers and I refused to go up factory specs. Way too tight.

You could try a couple different things!
First what height do you have the forks set at? You can slide the forks down in the clamps to see if that lessens the sensation of diving , also you could play with oil hight in the forks! Go in on comp, to hold the front end up, and lower the oil level so you don’t get a mid stroke spike
Suspension is a strange thing, what is great for one guy, another guy might think it sucks
