2018 Fc 250 Master cylinder seal swollen

My clutch felt weird and when I took cap off the master cylinder the inside rubber was really swollen. What causes this? I think we used Magura blood oil, should I just use Dot 4? Thanks in advance!

Use what the manual calls for as the mixing of different oils can cause seal swell. Also using the incorrect oil for the seals will do the same thing.

Does it have the Magura or brembo master cylinder? Brembo takes DOT 4, Magura takes mineral oil.

The husky clutches use brake fluid not oil... you need a master rebuild kit to be safe

If you mixed blood oil with brake fluid change your master cylinder seals and slave seals. And clean everything very wel with brake fluid making sure there is no more mineral oil in the system.

I used the blood once it it swelled all my seals... 2017 husky tc 250.. used dot fluid no issues
