DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
A mockup, still many details to work on. Next step is to order more titanium bolts.
Any news? I looked on the bike check, do you ever plan to ride it a few times to see how fast is it?
I did a test run of the engine in another chassis and it hit hard! No plan to ride it, it was built as a garage queen.

I will check with Dave to see what he might still have left over from this day.
I just sold my bike to a museum but could be interesting with parts anyway.

Hi, sorry for jumping on an old post but I do believe that this week I bought an old Bob Moore yz 125 from 1996 and this seems like the perfect place to try and gain some more info. The bike itself is pretty much unrecognisable in its current state but all the right pieces are there, I apologise for the quality of the photos as they were taken late last night when I got back from collecting it.

Cool! It sure is one of his bike although in a strange costume 😀. Is there an ID stamp on the Öhlins shock also? If you take of the cylinder, please take some photos of the ports.
There should be ID on the hubs as well if not hidden by the spray paint...
Looks like a titanium subframe, right?
Thanks for replying! I haven't got that far yet but once I start stripping it down I'll be keeping an eye out for anymore markings and I'll keep you updated, I had a feeling it was an old team bike by the parts i could see in the advert but I was very surprised when got there and saw BM1 stamped on the engine. I would really like to figure out how it ended up in the middle of nowhere in the Czech Republic there must be a good story with it. Unfortunately it's not a ti subframe it's a modern aluminium one so they could fit the restyle kit, I did get the original but it also looks to be aluminum and the fuel tank is a blue plastic one. I believe it's a team magic bike from 96 but Bob was injured for much of that season and only did a few rounds I think, I would like to put it back to original but I'm already struggling to find a front fender in red maybe you might have some ideas?
The stock subframe for 96-99 is in steel. The front fender is hard to find. I managed to find a new Maico 700 fender which is identical to yz and in correct red, though produced by Ufo instead of Acerbis.
Okay that's awesome thanks, I'm going try and get a closer look at the bike and spares this weekend I'll keep you updated any info is very much appreciated
DWR UPPSALA in Sweden have some original decals including seat cover new unused.
Back then Magic Bike and DWR Uppsala hand built up to 40 bikes a year, so depending on month and GP all bikes were quite different. Non of the bikes were the same.
Nice bike!! Any updates?
