Ohlins suspension help

So there's a weird story to go along with this kit i traded for. I wasn't sure what condition it was in, if it was even salvable, how much it would cost to fix. So I have some questions now that I've received it.
Looks bitchin for sure

But right off the bat i was concerned with this

I was told that this side of the fork had a leaky seal, probably due to the coating rubbing off.
1. I need to know how much a rebuild on an Ohlins shock and forks usually is
2. Is the coating ruined, is it fixable without spending a fortune, how much would it cost to recoat?
3. Whos the best and most reasonable Ohlin's specialist in the south? I was thinking about using Konflict Motorsports out of Austin.
Also, does anyone know who last set this up?

I’m curious also. I just got a used ohlins ttx shock that I want to service. I’ve been trying to find the tool for the compression adjuster

The DLC looks to be wearing off. It won't cause any issues other than a slight drop in performance. You can get it stripped and recoated (both lower tubes) for about $700 or so. Or you could just ride it, it will be fine and won't hurt the seals at all.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the insight.
I just talked to Konflict Motorsports in Austin, Alex thinks It will be around $700 to completely rebuild, respring, and refresh for me, and $1,000+ for a revalve and refresh. Is that typical these days for an Ohlins rebuild and revalve? I've spend double that for the Kreft system, and I really like Konflict as a company. Could I get away with going to another company if they are substantially cheaper? Any recommendations for a cost effective ohlins shop?

I don't know much about Ohlins specifically, so I'm not much further help. That pricing doesn't sound unreasonable, though. You will always be able to find cheaper or more expensive, but you'll be best in the long run finding a company with a lot of experience with Ohlins as they'll know exactly where to start out.

Coppersmith suspension in Akron, OH is where I would send them. They are the best on Ohlins hands down.
